It might work, it might not, what that really depends on is you. Spells are symbols, prayers, and they only hold the power you give them. A spell is not something to make your life easier by freeing you from difficult tasks, it is there to help you balance your life, and your mind. You are the driving force, and you have to be determined and willing. Addictions are dangerous things, and can often be helped by using tools to encrease your willpower. If you're looking for an easy out, this spell won't work, and no other quick fixes will be of any use. If you're looking for something to symbolize your path, and help you put it in perspective, it may. Just remember, be careful, and I wouldn't recommend trying to hyperventilate, ESPECIALLY if you have a candle lit. Take calming breaths. NEVER EVER LEAVE A CANDLE UNATTENDED, NOR DO ANYTHING TO CAUSE YOURSELF A DANGEROUS SETBACK IN REACTION TIMES WHEN WORKING WITH FLAMES.

Second thing- Computers are not evil, and do not take possesion of your soul. They are entertainment, and can be abused. Your computer is not out to get you, it is your own mind that you have to trick. Blaming a machine, a drug, a substance, or a situation doesn't help. Working on your own problems is a path. If you truely are addicted to the internet, try and find a proffessional who can help you work through the issues.

I've been practicing a Pagan religion since I was 11, and I've seen my fair share of spells that were like this. Magic isn't waving a wand and making problems disappear, it's a prayer, a meditation. The easy way out doesn't exsist in Magic.

Working magick when the person does not know what they are doing is not a very responsible thing to do.

People have caused themselves much harm and heartache by attempting to work charms and spells when they have no idea what they are doing.

I would compare it to handing a baby a carving knife and telling it to cut a piece of meat.

I see book stores that sell supposedly harmless books on working spells and charms. And when I see some of the people who buy them, or hear what they want them for.... quite frankly it scares the heebeejeebees out of me.

I am Wiccan. I have studied years and there are things I would still not attempt to do without studying them out first. And there are other things I would not touch without having an elder assist me in learning.

I agree... I've been a solitary practitioner of Wicca for over 9 years now and would never reccomend anyone jumping into anything before they study and fully understand it!

A spell won't work just because you "perform it"... It has to be something you truly believe in... An answered spell is something you are asking the higher powers (Goddess/God) for... It's a gift when answered... If you don't truly believe, why would they answer?
