This one is new. I've never had one quite like that. Bumper year for shrooms. She's fading now and the grass will be cut soon.

Our fall forest mushroom crop this year is already disappointing. We haven't had but 2 good rains in the last four months so I don't expect many. The gnomes are a little miffed

It's been really joyous this year. Lots of rain, very few storms. We have some cacti that have gone berserk this summer. Huge growth. Pencil cactus gone wile. Gorgeous blooms on the Saguaro. Very happy hibiscus.

I saw that Saguaro! Amazing, really! Cacti do not do well here

Did you know that not only those few Fairy Ring pics show up? All 42 do or at least until I got to #18.

I just love those three little optic variables - two seemingly rising outside the circle, one inside. I'm fascinated.

I love Serendipity.

And Putfile decides to go down TODAY. Maaaaaan.

I've taken some serendipitous pictures myself over the years... Part of me says smudges on the lens, raindrops or fog. But a better part of me thinks dryads, undines and nymphs

Yes, it's enough to be happy that it turned out the way it did.

I like the idea that I could be accused of altering the photograph, but I didn't.
