someone once suggested to sweetgypsy and I that we rename "my thread" as "our thread". that idea has been in the back of my mind since then. the problem is, you can't just re-name a thread, you have to start a new one....

so, after months of backbreaking construction, here it is.... our new "home" on Lit. it's not quite finished... it's a surprise for my love and she hasn't yet decorated it with her smile and presence. I'm sure I speak for her, tho, when I say that we hope that the friends we have will feel free to stop by and chat, or at least say "howdy".

I also have to warn you that we get kind of mushy sometimes... can't help that. overall, tho, we hope you'll find that "our house is a very, very, very fine house."

it appears that my love is a little speechless at the moment, so... this isn't a welcome from her... she'll take care of that. however, I thought it appropriate to move this in from the old place.

I came here not that long ago just trying to figure out 'who' I was. I found many people here that I thought I had made connections/ friendships with. Some are true friends, while others were just.............

Well one day while perusing the threads, I saw this profile of a cute bald guy with his bass guitar and I decided to read some of his posts. He intrigued me. He seemed all together, yet something was obviously missing.............his smile.

Two weeks later I saw a post that asked if anyone wanted to hear this guy sing and play his guitar..............so I took him up on his offer.

What happened next was anyone's guess.................I heard his voice, his singing, his playing..............I fell instantly.

Baby it has been three months since we took a chance.........a leap.............I would not have changed a thing about that day..........

I gave you my heart, my soul that day..............and one day......very soon...........we will meet..........and I will be yours

I know who I am and where I belong.......finally

I love you baby............so glad I could reach this milestone with you..........here in our home.

and my response... it's not something I just wrote, but I don't know if I could say it better:

I am so glad that you took the chance that fateful day, my love, and let me sing to you the song that has become our song. since then, I have been more happy more days in a row than I can remember and it's all because of you. thank you for allowing me into your life and your heart. I love you more than I have the words to express.
