Ok. Stupid question, here. I was reading my book on Sexuality for people with Spina Bifida, and, it said that an orgasm and ejaculation were 2 different things. What the hell is the difference?

Some difference...

Just my opinion right or wrong... Org is the feeling, Ejaculation is sticky... Combine them and u have... Oh God I'm cummmmiiiiinnnngggggg.....
I think?

?...

No such thing as a stupid ?... Not asking is stupid... And stupidity should be painfull...

I enjoy both actually, don't think it would be near as exciting and good if it wasnt't for the ejaculation

I have read that people with spinal cord problems can have orgasms in many ways yet not ejaculate.

I believe the example they used was the rubbing of this mans shoulders and the fact that he had the feeling of an orgasm with out any penile involvement.

Okay, seriously, now...

Most people think I'm nuts, but I swear that I've had orgasms without ejaculating. The orgasm tends to be a full-body feeling--I described it on another thread once as being akin to demon-possession--while the ejaculation, while pleasant, is more confined to the gonads.

I don't often have an orgasm from masturbation, as I see it, although I do usually ejaculate, of course. If I'm involved in a particularly long sexual evening, I may ejaculate 3-4 times, but I can have more orgasms than that.

An orgasm, using a man as an example, usually involves ejaculation. SOmetimes, however, it doesn't. It's the concentrated feeling of overpowering pleasure that can cause a man to shake, quake, whatever, without ejaculating. Sometimes it's referred to as internal ejaculation (see a Kama Sutra site for more info).

It's too hot a day to begin with for you to be describing such things, Hamlet.

Cool me off.

I would say 'read my lips' . . . but I don't think it would have quite the impact as it might if I were speaking to someone else.

Gimme your best supposition as to what mine are saying.

In men, orgasm and ejaculation are two different occurences. It is very complicated and I never remember all the details. But if you are curious, just type in male sexuality on a google search and you will get the whole story.

It really explains the concept of milking: ejaculation with or without orgasm, which can be induced by stimulating a mans prostate gland.

There is.

There is nothing new under the sun.

Hamlet, you live in the south, you don't know what cold is.

I used to live up there, remember? I know all about long, cold, lonely winters--as well as the difference between ejaculation and orgasms.

Women are also capable of orgasm with or without ejaculation.

I'd very much like to experience the orgasm without ejaculation that you were talking about. But what i said above is that the "messy" part of it gives a real egde to the excitement and makes it even better. That's why i couldn't agree "orgasm is better than ejaculation"
