Have you seen this commercial for finding a "gay friendly hotel?"
it's weird! Totally flaming gay guys are on a game show of some sort and they have to find a hotel fast. Would this tick off gay guys who don't fit the pansy stereotype?

edit: here's the link orbitz and "gay friendly hotels"

It wouldn't be a very effective commercial if it didn't piss off at least a few people.

I just saw this commercial. This has to be the first gay commercial. I feel like going out and buying a bottle of Schmidt's Gay.

This just in: every state south of the Mason-Dixie line is now boycotting Orbitz.

can't... stop... laughing

oh hush *giggle*
I don't think I've ever seen a gay commercial either. I saw it for the first time during Will & Grace (that may have been the most opportune time to do it). I don't really have a problem with it, I just thought it was funny that the guys they chose were so incredibly effeminate. Not all gay men are this way and it seemed to kind of press the stereotype. I don't really give a crap one way or the other, I just wanted to see what the gay male community thought of it. *shrugs*

Good question. I had a gay friend who thought that the main characters on Will & Grace itself were overly effeminate. As straight guy, I don't have much of an opinion on this.

Well at least it got a reply. GLBT has been dead as of late. Where have all the homos gone? :(
