Operations Fast & Furious

Rinos are those Republicans who compromise their principles and move to the left to vote with the Democrats. Damn few Democrats move to the right to vote with conservatives. The Republican base is conservative.

LOL. Democrats do it so often that it's not even considered special. You can't even shame the sluts because it's all of them.

Bottom line to those gun control pussies, we have bad people in this world, and they have and will use guns. Personal protection against gun violence requires equivalent force. You need a gun, and it is your God given right to own and use one for your own protection. It doesn't have to be an amendment in the Constitution to be so, but the Founding Fathers chose to enshrine it, so as to make no mistake about it.
So, violent Mexican drug cartel members have a God-given right to own guns.

How many crossed over on Obama care?

Enough that it took 2 years to get a fillabuster proof majority to pass a law. And not the law that they promised their voters at that but a horrible compromise. How many Republicans crossed over on a law they basically wrote, TWICE?!

You're just trying to deflect the blame from the Lone Wolf Trading Company. You're not alone. The Lone Wolf Trading Company want to deflect that blame, too.

From 2006 to 2011, it was the No. 1 seller in Arizona of weapons that were later found at Mexican crime scenes, according to ATF data. The store, which had been prominently mentioned in a Washington Post article on indiscriminate firearms sales, also sold the weapons found at the murder scene of U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.

This from the Speaker Of The House:

A Look Inside the Flawed ‘Fast & Furious’ Gun-Smuggling Operation

A new report from the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee and the Senate Judiciary Committee sheds some light on Operation Fast & Furious, the flawed gun-smuggling operation run by President Obama’s Department of Justice that resulted in the death of border agent Brian Terry.
House investigators and leaders repeatedly asked the Obama administration to cooperate and help get to the bottom of ‘Fast and Furious.’ But the Department of Justice stonewalled (and provided – then withdrew – false information), and the White House asserted executive privilege to keep related documents secret. In June, the House voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt.
This report – the first of three – is “based on transcribed interviews with 24 individuals, some covering multiple days; informal interviews with more than 50 individuals; and the review of more than 10,000 pages of documents.” It chronicles the operation and concludes that, from the outset, Fast and Furious “was marred by missteps, poor judgments, and an inherently reckless strategy.”

Phoenix Arizona has more than double the number of gun shops that Houston Texas has, a city with a higher population. Wonder why?

Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Except if you're trying to score political points on Obama you can flip that logic around as you wish. Then flip it back again next time someone mentions gun control.

CBS News report:

ATF Plotted To Use "Fast & Furious" For Gun Control, Agent's Family Files Suit Against InJustice Dept.
This was done with a political motive, and it lead to the deaths of two American law enforcement agents, as well as many in Mexico, as revealed in December 2011 (CBS News, via FreeRepublic).

Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation "Fast and Furious" to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales.

In Fast and Furious, ATF secretly encouraged gun dealers to sell to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels to go after the "big fish." But ATF whistleblowers told CBS News and Congress it was a dangerous practice called "gunwalking," and it put thousands of weapons on the street. Many were used in violent crimes in Mexico. Two were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

....Several gun dealers who cooperated with ATF told CBS News and Congressional investigators they only went through with suspicious sales because ATF asked them to.

Sometimes it was against the gun dealer's own best judgment.

In April, 2010 a licensed gun dealer cooperating with ATF was increasingly concerned about selling so many guns. "We just want to make sure we are cooperating with ATF and that we are not viewed as selling to the bad guys," writes the gun dealer to ATF Phoenix officials, "(W)e were hoping to put together something like a letter of understanding to alleviate concerns of some type of recourse against us down the road for selling these items."

ATF's group supervisor on Fast and Furious David Voth assures the gun dealer there's nothing to worry about. "We (ATF) are continually monitoring these suspects using a variety of investigative techniques which I cannot go into detail."

Two months later, the same gun dealer grew more agitated.

"I wanted to make sure that none of the firearms that were sold per our conversation with you and various ATF agents could or would ever end up south of the border or in the hands of the bad guys. I guess I am looking for a bit of reassurance that the guns are not getting south or in the wrong hands...I want to help ATF with its investigation but not at the risk of agents (sic) safety because I have some very close friends that are US Border Patrol agents in southern AZ as well as my concern for all the agents (sic) safety that protect our country."

"It's like ATF created or added to the problem so they could be the solution to it and pat themselves on the back," says one law enforcement source familiar with the facts. "It's a circular way of thinking."

The Justice Department and ATF declined to comment. ATF officials mentioned in this report did not respond to requests from CBS News to speak with them.

Small wonder the Dept of Justice had this to say today...
... the Republican report reiterates many of the distortions and now-debunked conspiracy theories that Rep. Issa has been advancing for a year and a half, including the fiction that the flawed tactics used in Fast and Furious were somehow the brainchild of the current administration as opposed to the reality that the pattern of flawed tactics dates back to 2006 and the prior administration."

In other words, teh Republicans are trying to pin teh blame on a failed operation on President Obama's administration, when in truth it was conceived and implemented under teh failed Bush administration.

Stop proving you're are retarded. Bush never let a gun cross the border and no one was killed.
