Only in America ... could they have had the two people most responsible for our tax code, Timothy Geithner (the head of the Treasury Department) and Charles Rangel (who once ran the Ways and Means Committee), BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher taxes.

You do know that sometimes you should raise taxes, right? Like when you start two wars?

Let's say you went to a restaurant. You notice the prices are increased. Do you flip the fuck out, and insist they provide the same level of quality at the same prices and go bankrupt? Do you insist that they keep the prices the same, but lower the quality until, ten years later, they're serving you dog food from a can? Or do you accept that in order to do their job, they might actually require more money, and that those who benefit from their services might actually have to pay for them?

If you don't like taxes, you can always go live in the woods and stop collecting any sort of income. But if you use public roads and enjoy the benefits of the police and public education, then maybe you should stop your bitching and accept that people pay for services.

Do you know that about 30% of the government work force does jack shit? do you know if we terminated 30% of those workers no one would notice?

do you realize that between the state and feds we have 2 to 5 "departments" doing the exact same thing?

did you know that we can no longer sustain the government pension system? did you know that, the pensions system should be defunded and if there is any money in the checking account to up those funds into social security. part of the problem is the simple fact that hundred of thousands of government workers committed fraud in order to max their pension payments!

I would assume not, as you are a consumer of tax payer money and lack common sense. but fear not, I'm here to educate and fix you!
