I often feel the same way....where has the tenderness gone that existed here back in '96-'97?

Maybe we've all changed a little....the kids grow up, move away, Mr. Johnson down the street died last spring after that bout with shingles and strap-ons....

But there are new kids in the old Johnson house! Look it's little Billy!

I used to find BBS's and early Web-based interaction sites much warmer as well.

I've adopted a much more leathery approach in the past few years as the Web has become more mainstream.

Most people haven't got a clue anymore...I'll bet the overwhelming majority of those posting here in the BDSM Forum have never read anything about Netiquette, for example, or haven't even so much as visited the EEF website.

If the fundamental underpinnings aren't appreciated, there's a pretty good chance the rest will tumble down in due course.

That being said....something new and different will come along.
