"On the Job" Story Event 2025

My beta readers are satisfied, and the latest draft is off to the editor. I think I'm in pretty good shape to make the deadline with a solid story.

Now if I could just come up with a decent title.

Mine is also done and essentially ready but I have nothing for a title still. Some stories seem really hard to title.

About 5k words into this one. I figure this may end up around 20k, maybe less if I spend the next few weeks editing it. I think it will be pretty unique, at least in terms of the job site.

My story is back from the editor and all polished up. It weighs in at just over 11k words which is below my average, but above my median. This will be my first try at a story for the "Interracial" category. Unless I can think of a better title before posting time, I'm calling it...

A Doctor's Office Dalliance
A lonely Desi-American girl falls for a Black truck driver

It's been two and half years since I finished a story. It feels good.

Hmm, in a strange kind of way, my latest story could actually fit this category and should be ready at the right period. It might be a stretch though.

I mean two characters in military uniforms are on the job wherever they are, as long as their on a mission, right? Even if the military is kinda StarFleet, right?

There's a confession scene at the end, but then the priest is on the job and the MC is still on the ship in uniform...

It's done! A ridiculous little story of a job that may or may not actually exist, I kind of hope it is a thing though 😁

I've been on here too long without writing anything, so this is the drive I need. I've started, I have characters, place, plot, and scenes. Now I just need to write and edit the damn thing. I've done NaNoWriMo twice, so no biggie, right. Right?

I'll probably be back in a week with a dumb question like are XX too many/not enough words, or panicking for beta readers/editors.

Still, I've committed now. Some one nudge me if I don't upload on the 18th.

Just wrapped this one up.

44k sea story, finished in a little over a week and made better by the inimitable Penny Thompson! Looking forward to getting more eyeballs on this in a few weeks!

Same. This anthology gave me the motivation to finish a story after a two year dry spell. I'm here for you N_O_G.

"On the Job" 2025

It's one of the most common fantasies in the world. You see someone sharply dressed, diligently performing a task with the utmost professionalism. Maybe it's your boss or co-worker. Or maybe it's the person serving you.

But of course, sex is always in the back of your mind.

With "On the Job," right here on Literotica, those themes will be explored in all their beautiful glory.

Because who doesn't desire sex in the workplace?

Guidelines:

- The ENTIRE story must happen at a place of employment
- At least one character must be an employee
- Doesn't have to be one scene. Make as many scenes as you want.
- Examples include; a retail business, a professor at college, an airline employee at the airport or airplane, a hotel attendant, and of course an office worker. etc...

Date:

The posting period is between April 18 - April 24

Final list to be posted on April 25, Friday

So we begin submitting them to Lit on April 18?
I don't want to wait until the last moment as it's sometimes taken 4 days to get a story posted after submission.
This one may take a little longer due to a special formatting request. 😬

So for the 750-word challenge, I submitted a little early and put

"750-WORD CHALLENGE, please publish after Feb. 1,"

In the mod message field, and Laurel set it to publish on the first day of the challenge. I'm guessing you can do the same with this challenge!

As stated above, you can submit it early and put a special request for a release date if you want.

But yeah, submit during that time frame and Laurel will handle the rest.

Keep in mind, it's a story even so those get priority submissions.

Have two teed up, one at 4k and the other at 10k. Nothing earth shattering but both feature hospital residents. Who knew call rooms could be so much fun?🤩

Just got mine back from editing and submitted it! Very excited about this event, and to try posting in a category I haven't written in before.

I'm submitting mine tonight, Accessibility Compliance, a non-binary voyeurism story about web accessibility and taking chances in life 🄰

I've always written niche, but this is a little excessive even for me šŸ˜…
