"On the Job" Story Event 2025

"On the Job" 2025
Guidelines
:

- The ENTIRE story must happen at a place of employment

I’ve got one story that takes place completely in the office, but there is a description of something outside the office at the end. I’m finishing another story that ends with a sweet scene years later that is not at the place of employment. Would these still qualify?

I’m putting the finishing touches on another story that starts with a couple of scenes that set up why the main character takes the job. Would this qualify?

I’m actively writing a fourth that I thought was for this contest, but it turns out that almost none of it takes place in an office. It takes place on a work trip, between coworkers, but while traveling and in a hotel. That doesn’t seem to be close enough to meet the guidelines.

I'm a little anxious on this last point too. My (technician) characters are based in a workshop but undertake multi-day field trips to repair instruments. The boss makes it clear that they are on duty and on company dime while they are travelling, and also makes it clear to the more senior one that he is not allowed to make a move on the more junior one. Plus there's been a previous harassment case so everybody is really twitchy about it all (I wanted to set myself a writing challenge but also make it 'real'). I'm hoping that this fits the rules.

Yeah, I’m counting on “workplace” being the entire building in which they work (hospital) and not just the actual spaces in which the actual work takes place every day. I hope 🤞 that’s a correct interpretation!

There are no rigid rules, nothing to interpret, no-one to say no. "Workplace" is where you want it to be. The opening thread gives the guidance, the premise, but there's no workplace police for this challenge.

Thank you 🙏 - I get anxious about the most ridiculous things at times! Really appreciate your assurance. ☺️

I’ve got four stories ready to go:
A fetish The Breast Pump 4k
A mature The Hot Tub Repairman 5.6k
1st nonconsent In The Box 7k
2nd nonconsent (could have been voyeur/ exhibition but victim didn’t have a choice) Bitch Boss Reveled 3k

Does anyone have time to beta read and give feedback in the next couple of days?

(By the way, I’m also working on the Survivor challenge which is why I hit three different categories.)

Forgive the silly question but have you all started to submit your stories? I know the challenge open dates are 4/18 - 4/24.

Just curious. Thanks friends

I don’t know if it was earlier in this thread, or last years but other people wrote that you could put the publication date in the notes and the admins would post it at the appropriate time.
I still haven’t submitted mine, though.

Hey team, I'm new at all this so sorry for the basic question. I've just submitted a story for approval but it hasn't been published yet. Am I reading this right that to be part of the competition, the story can't be published prior to 24 April. If that's correct does that mean I should pull my story back?

Maybe?
It's not like we are competing to win an award.
Based on the lore, you might just want to add to the notes that you want it published later.
Of course if you included the OnTheJob tag the powers that be might know to hold it...

I think you may have misread the instructions...
Date:

The posting period is between April 18 - April 24

Final list to be posted on April 25, Friday

:

Use "OnTheJob" in your Notes section when submitting.
So your story just needs to be published any time between April 18 and April 24 in order to be included in the challenge list.

Also make sure you've got OnTheJob in the mod notes box, and if you're submitting it now it might be a good idea to say something like "Please publish between April 18 and April 24."

I submitted my story on Sunday, and it's now scheduled to publish on the 18th! :giggle:

"On the Job" 2025

It's one of the most common fantasies in the world. You see someone sharply dressed, diligently performing a task with the utmost professionalism. Maybe it's your boss or co-worker. Or maybe it's the person serving you.

But of course, sex is always in the back of your mind.

With "On the Job," right here on Literotica, those themes will be explored in all their beautiful glory.

Because who doesn't desire sex in the workplace?

Guidelines:

- The ENTIRE story must happen at a place of employment
- At least one character must be an employee
- Doesn't have to be one scene. Make as many scenes as you want.
- Examples include; a retail business, a professor at college, an airline employee at the airport or airplane, a hotel attendant, and of course an office worker. etc...

The posting period is between April 18 - April 24

There aren't any, it can be as long or as short as you want! The only requirements are listed in the opening post.

Whole story must take place at work (open to creative interpretation), put OnTheJob in the mod notes field, publish between the 18th and 24th.

I was just going to proofread my entry once more before submitting it, and my laptop refused to turn on; I plugged it in, it turned on, I brought the story up intact, and it shut itself off again. It won’t turn back on.

And OF COURSE I failed to back up my work. It’s my own damn fault, but I have SO MUCH on it, not just that story.

I was really looking forward to this, reading everyone’s stories and being part of this; I’m actually surprised by how upset I am that I probably lost the entry I so enjoyed writing.

I guess I could try rewriting on my phone but ugghhhh I don’t know if I can muster the energy. I am so disappointed in myself.

And in technology. Should’ve known it would betray me again at the worst time!

Just needed to vent.

Oh no I hope you can get it back up!

This is a nightmare scenario for me, and why I keep most of my stuff on the cloud 😳

Yeah, I thought I was backing everything up on the Cloud, but I never checked to make sure and can’t find it now. 😩 I am so awful at anything tech, I should have tried to get more comfortable and familiar with it so I know WTF I’m doing. Now I have caused myself a lot of needless stress. I’m about to take the laptop apart and make a hail-Mary attempt to fix it. 🍀

If it turned on once, after you thought it had died for good, then the first thing I'd try would be to take out the battery if possible and boot it exclusively from a power supply. Only if this doesn't work you should think of more invasive operations like getting the disk out.

Oh no! Suggest you Google the symptoms for that model laptop, try any non-destructive options suggested (avoid the ones that involve chainsaws or construction equipment), and then take to a professional repair shop if no luck. Don’t worry about the timing - if you get the story back after the challenge ends, submit it anyway and link to it here.
