"On the Job" 2026

It's one of the most common fantasies in the world. You see someone sharply dressed, diligently performing a task with the utmost professionalism. Maybe it's your boss or co-worker. Or maybe it's the person serving you.

But of course, sex is always in the back of your mind."

@HeyAll used this as the opening to the directions for a new story contest for next year and it got me to thinking (and surprisingly it didn't hurt!)

What indeed are the most COMMON fantasies in the world. Is there a list or is it just a mish-mash of constantly changing, ever evolving, concepts and imagination?
Given that we are master purveyors of erotic literature, and thus we usually let our imaginations run amok, what are, or is, your most common fantasy?

Is your fantasy rooted in something you have witnessed, imagined, been in contact with to some small degree? Are these the things that fuel the expansion and expression of our written work?

I would venture to suggest that it wasn't some idle "net searching" by which we hit upon Literotica.com, where did WE come from?

Most respectfully and ever curious,
D.

Given that the bulk of my stories are casual encounters that move into something more intimate and emotional, I'd say that's my primary fantasy.

Usually written about someone I've known in my life, or who I know now.

I found Lit when I was looking for a place to publish erotica. It appeared to be the best of the available sites back in 2014. The idea had got into my head to write something personal, which I did within the first year. Basically, I joined to publish something, then the writing put its hooks in. That's what keeps me here. The AH is part of it, too.

The most common fantasy anywhere is guy minding his own business when out of the blue woman jumps out and fucks him (or engages in his fave kink completely unprompted) while he lies there and she cums all over him because apparently being a nobody and doing nothing makes him such a great lay.

Thread over. : )

I don't read a lot of stories like that here, but I do see a lot of stories (and resonate) with the O.P. fantasy premise.

Unless you're fat and singing, Nu-huh.

@pink_silk_glove,
Good morning my dear colleague, so, that would be what?
Your favourite fantasy? Something you've actually seen, or done...or fantasized about doing?
And, with as many posts as you have notched up, I'd say you've been with Lit a good long time, would you care to share how you came to be here?

Just curious is all feel free to tell me to F-Off if you wish, no problem.
Deepest respects, always,
D.

I’d identify (or idolise) the ‘found community’ ideal of stumbling from loneliness into persistent loving community. For me it’s less about a particular physical act and more about discovering kinds of idyllic love. I have no idea how I came to be on the site and idle speculation probably won’t help, but I doubt it was through typing ‘red headed twins’.

(waits patiently for red headed twins to jump out of bushes and ravish him as per PSG’s method)

Just an FYI, but this isn't a new event. It looks like it started in 2019, and I entered a story in it last year. I have one story that might work for it this year, but it's one that I'm struggling to move from concept to draft.

@IWroteThis,
Good evening my dear colleague, yes, the concept can be etched so sharply in your thinking but that first line of writing is almost impossible to put down. I often feel that way and feel that whatever first line of writing that I come up with will not be adequate to introduce the story.

I do have a couple of "go to" lines that I tend to rely on quite heavily, such as,
"The first time he noticed her" [alt] "she noticed him..."
"The weather in (location) had started to turn (seasonal) and MC was feeling quite..."
'How many times' he/she thought to himself/herself, 'did he/she have to do the same, boring, repetitious task...'

With all due respect, just a couple of suggestions that you might find "pokes" the Muse.
Deepest respects,
D.

My most common fantasies are actually porn movies I watched which I felt could have turned out differently, either longer foreplay or with scenes I'm convinced were edited out in the final product. If you want to know what they are, you can check out the threads I posted. I've an incurable tight jeans kink so my fantasies are all in that direction.

I found Literotica because I heard from a colleague during my time as a temp admin staff that the best type of porn was erotic literature. That lured me to the site many years ago. At that time, there wasn't much so I could finish reading most of the stories which suited me within a short time.

In recent times I've unfortunately developed a certain habit. When I'm under pressure to deliver something of considerable difficulty that needs a certain amount of mental or creative energy or brain juice, I need something to give me a "high" or "kick" that can get me over the edge. Last time porn movies gave me that but not too long ago, due to global warming, changing fashions and of course a wave of acquisitions and closures, I was on a dry spell which grew increasingly longer. Increasingly desperate to find something to give me that "high" or "kick" and trying various alternative methods, it brought me back to Literotica. It amazed me how much the site has grown in recent years. I not only was able to find stories which gave me that "high" or "kick", I also found stories which were as satisfying if not more satisfying than my favorite movies.

I've always found words far more arousing than video porn, and for visual arousal, always preferred photos or drawings.

I appreciate the kind words and suggestions.

I actually have the opening written. I would just need to change it so that he doesn't make it out of the parking lot before returning to his office for it to qualify for the challenge, although that makes the timeline a bit more challenging. I may have to add a discussion in the parking lot with a coworker to replace the drive time.

It's the meat of the story that I'm struggling with, in large part because it involves things I read more than I write, and then goes a bit beyond that. Also, trying to capture some of the physical aspects in a way that is believable and understandable without being overly technical or distracting has been a struggle.

Also, it's a one-on-one scenario and I seem to be in a harem phase right now. Maybe if I add in a cleaning lady or two…

My most common fantasy? A woman out in public with no panties on. It's to the degree of a fetish. It's not something I even write; other people write it better.

I found Literotica because written fiction is just about the only place one can find narrative fiction about the subject, and Literotica very rapidly became the biggest erotic literature site when is came out.

The stuff I write is usually an act of creativity and not based on something I've experienced. Almost every sex scene has a science fiction or fantasy element.
