Yes Some one has finally show me real live evidence to support evilution.

A biologist had a living freshwater farm cultured clam using the most modern methods available dated and now I have proof evilution is true.

The clam the meat part was dated to be 6780 years old, the bottom half shell was dated to be 5254 years old and the top half of the shell was dated to be a measly 1432 years old.

This shows proof of Evilution to me something finally concrete.

As I image it, this freshwater started off just as clam meat 6780 years ago and about 5254 years ago got tired of scrapping his belly on the the side of the clam cage so he grew a bottom shell and then about 1432 years ago got tired of all the sub beaming down on him so he developed a top shell.

I wish some one had of brought this to my attention while I was still an athiest.

Todd, My friend

to show real evidence to support evilution is easy. All you have to do is look at the human race for an example. Over the past 500 years. The human body as become taller and fatter... Unlike the the past when most people were short and skinny... There is also more evidence to go behind this... but I am not going to type out a 8 page post to prove it..

That is Micro Evilution Every body even Christians and Creationist believe in micro evilution. But this clam is the first evidence I have actually seen Of Macro Evilution.

i'm assuming you are spelling Evolution that way to make a point.....

found any Human footprints alongside dinosaur footprints yet?

And God said 'Let there be Light.... (big bang?)

and why do you keep saying...

Evolution = no God?

kind of a Narrow view there Todd....

I would have to be a really weak, imperfect, not all powerful, not all knowing God to use evolution.

Instead of a Perfect God who could simply command the cosmos into existance with a command from his lips.

If I am gonna worship a God, He had beter be perfect or why waste the time? You gonna waste your time on a God who isn't perfect and able to do it right?

Perfect??

You call the present form of humanity "getting it right"

We sell our souls to "get ahead" of our neighbors...

We have the ability to grow far more food than we can ever eat and still people starve to death..

We allow people to die every day from easily cured disease and treatable injuries....

We are filling the atmosphere with CO2 and simultaneously defoliating the rainforests, but God forbid we interfere with profitmaking...

War

Famine

Hatred

Genocide

Greed

God has one weird sense of humor...

Perhaps 3.5 million years was an "instant" to God....He is eternal isn't he. Just because it seems a long time to us...Hell, 70 years is a whole lifetime to us....in the grand scheme it is inconsequential. Think like God...it's fun...and interesting;)

look around ya boy...

The God i know and Love is still working on it....

He started with one thing, Energy, then turned it into matter (hydrogen). i thought that was pretty impressive.

He took hydrogen and made This, the world, the solar system, the Galexy, The Universe.

.......He ain't done yet.......

Todd,

I could help you see OMG, but then your Virgin status would have to change.

Back to our serious news...

Todd. Evolution is real. It happened. It's happening. It's one of the most widley supported theories in human history. And all the badly researched and spuriously proven Creationist "please-make-it-so" propoganda in the world isn't going to change that.

Don't give in to the Dark side of the force, Luke. You'll find God much more easily here in the light.

I find it impossible to believe in God. It just doesn't make sense at all. As for evolution, sounds right to me, well, except I have to wonder at my family reunions. Sheesh.

Okay, I'm lost.

Thumper, what does God have to do with the fact that human beings have evolved into assholes? Humans are the reason there's war, famine, murder, etc., not God.
God didn't put Adam and Eve on the planet and say, "Okay, now start mistreating each other", it's something we do ourselves. Even if you believe in the evolution theory it still doesn't explain our fascination with destroying and hurting each other.

just a little note lol!!

i was down in south texas near canyon lake at a place called dinosaur park when i took a picture of a foot print
you might be amused to look at it was in marblized limestone
with dinosaur tracks all around it.

I have no ideal how to get the picture here however i do have a scanner. I placed a dollar bill beside it to give some ideal of how long it was. I have never heard of any thing else having a foot like us before.. it does'nt look like a ape's either and it's large.

Query.

Where are the intermediate species? Other than one or two, such as the archeopterix, which there is no link in the chain from archeopterix to bird, where are the links?

This is my problem with the evolutionary theory. We have this missing linkage thing going on all over the place. Humans come from Cro Magnon who comes from Neandrethal who comes from Orangatangs or something. However, there are no linking species between them, just similiarities.

According to scientists now days, since the "carbon dated missing link guy" they found a handful of years ago turned out to be a three hundred year old drunken french guy, Cro Magnon and Neandrethal were simply two different species of human and the neadndrethal died out because he was too highly specialized to adapt. Survival of the fittest and that rot.

Explain?

It's a narrow-minded view that presents Evolution and Theism as exclusive to one another. An individual stating such reveals, to an extent, that the said individual carries a very specific preconceived idea of what a God should or should not be. It kind of defeats the purpose if you're inventing the God that doesn't exist all on your own.

For once I agree with DCL on a religeous topic. Creationists are full of it.

I was trying to side with you the evilutionist and you still get mad at me for that. I find and am shown proof of evolution with a live living farm cultured clam. and you still get mad at me. So far it is the only transitional life form I have seen live or fossilized format and you still piss on me for agreeing with you.

i'm not mad....

just trying to figure out why you think the Lord wants to sit back and be bored..... ForEvverrrr...

You have to start somewhere Todd.

You can believe in God and Evolution at the same time

Good Chris Jericho impersonation ;)

I don't think that we have ever bored the Lord in the short period of thime the cosmos have been in existance. But your Tomahtoe is my tomaytoe.
