This was more carrion then kill, but an in interesting twist, quite coincidentally sharks were prominent in the news just weeks before this latest incident with the Great White shark killing someone.

My Father during WW2 in the South Pacific went swimming during a lull in the battle. He saw a commotion aboard the fantail of the ship, swam to the cargo net and got aboard. They had pulled out a Great White shark and cut it open on the deck. Inside they found a human foot, and a broken coffee cup with Jap writing on it. My Father in the future, always swam inside a reef in the South Pacific!
