Hello, I am an older MWM, semi-retired university professor in a stable, comfortable long-term marriage. Father and grandfather, successful in my career. In the grand scheme of things my life is good. But it is lacking in any real excitement. Nothing to make my heart race or to make me feel tingly all over. For personal and professional reasons I cannot engage in a physical affair. As the best available alternative, I am seeking an engaging, attractive, female chat partner who may find herself in a similar situation or who may just be interested in developing a friendship with an older guy. I value intelligence, creativity, sincerity, a good sense of humor, an open-mind, and a sensitive heart. I would hope to find someone with whom I could communicate openly and honestly, sharing feelings and emotions as well as frustrations to escape--at least for awhile--from the drudgery of the real world. Developing a trusting and caring friendship is of primary importance. If the feelings are mutual, I would be pleased if we attained a deeper emotional connection that could bring us both pleasure and satisfaction. Closeness, caring, sensuality, and real feelings and emotions are as important to me as the final result.
