Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

How about this one for a song you love but don't hear much anymore if at all. Hey Rj, does this group remind you of any other. :) 3 Guitars and a drummer????

That will make @TANSTAAFL58 happy… Canadian band… he probably used to see them out around Toronto…

The second song is better. Love this group. Come on baby!!!!

The Ronettes - (The Best Part Of) Breakin' Up

We need the original version now... (pretty sure this is who wrote it)

Hugh Masekela - Grazing In The Grass

Which always brings me to these guys

Don't You Just Know It - Huey "Piano" Smith & The Clowns

A couple of songs sung by a good group. Most of you won't remember this group but in the northeast, it was very popular!

1963 Billy & The Essentials - Maybe You’ll Be There

old memories from my teens and the dances we use to go to every Friday and Saturday nights. It was a big hit for the The Shirelles too.

Little Billy and The Essentials - The Dance Is Over - Fantastic Philly Doo Wop

OK Let's rock this place now. The best live album ever recorded IMO. Seager sang every song like it was his best!

But I think I saw Leonard Cohen busking in a Toronto subway station in 1978. I put a buck in his guitar case.

That song gets covered a lot, but NOBODY can growl a lyric like him. (Maybe Tom Waites)

The theme from "The Littlest Hobo"
