Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

They don't make them like this any more. Hear this song on Sirus 50s station and laughed remembering it from long ago. Easy for him to say!

Which brings me to this one.

The Trashmen - Surfin Bird - Bird is the Word 1963

And doing the dance what we called the frug or froog!
Couldn't find any video that showed how we did it. You just stood in one spot and shook your caboose from side to side. (Humm Maybe that's why my hips hurt now!!)

For the 60s I picked a song when I was Chicago. This man should be in the Hall of Fame if it was legit!

Freddy Cannon - Palisades Park 1962

Love his hat!!!

For the 80s I picked this one. The 80s were really hard because of all the great songs and bands.

Pink Cadillac - Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band 1984

His best song!

Now for the 70s. My favorite female singer.

You're No Good - Linda Ronstadt {Stereo} 1974

This is such a cool song! I absolutely love her version (the original).. and this is one of the few songs where I also love a remake of it.

Whenever Van Halen did a cover, they always changed it and made it their own... You're No Good is one of them. Absolutely love both versions. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Johnny Winter - Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo (Live)

Johnny Winter is one of the few of my heroes I got to see live. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

And... yeah, I used to do Rock And Roll, Hoochie Koo in a band.
