Okay this sooo wrong.

It's 6:19 a.m. and I'm already up and showered. BAH.

It's Saturday,I should be sleeping but this little internal alarm goes off every day at 6:45 a.m, no matter what time I go to sleep.

Anyone else like that?

Yep, I know the feeling. They've already been walked too, just a quick one, but now they'll leave me alone for an hour or so til it's the real walk time.

It can be a great stress reliever, that's for sure.

My internal alarm went of around 0330. Ugh! I am starting to think I am going to be like my grandmother. I used to work nights, now I work days. My body clock is all screwed up, yet I have become aclimated to getting up around 0400. I want to go back to nights!

Last dog I had was 25 years ago...

He was my best friend, my buddy, and was part of the family.
He's buried in an old Civil War battlefield in North Carolina by where I lived. I still have his collar.
My ex-gf brought home a stray puppy a couple of months ago, and he stayed with me for a couple of days, but my lease allows no pets. He's with a family down the street, has a girlie, and three human puppies to play with! He makes me proud each day when I drive by his place.

Enjoy yours while you can, they love you without condition.

My oldest one is 12, she's the first dog I had had in about 20 years too. The second hound from hell is just 1 year and terror.

But I wouldn't trade them for anything. The cat would, but I won't
