Went to my hairdresser's today. I told him I was looking for a new type of shampoo and conditioner........BOY that was a mistake!! they have UMP-teen bazillion different types there.

My question is....what do you use? I've tried most of them. I think I bought the rest today!! Ack....help!

I have very thick hair and need a moisturizing shampoo plus an industrial strength conditioner......I use one of those "once a week" type conditioners everytime I wash my hair!!!

Aussie Moist Shampoo
3 Minute Miracle Conditioner
good stuff

La

I just came back from the hairdresser a few hours ago. I am always amazed at how they can use whatever shampoo and conditioner and my hair behaves so well.

When I get home, different story. My hair is relaxed (even though I'm about going natural again), and it tangles easily. Industrial strength conditioner doesn't cut it most times. Right now, Herbal Essence shampoo and Breakthru conditioner are working out. I lose hair sometimes, but it better than ripping out tangles though.

Today, my hairdresser convinced me to buy a product called Biosilk. I have their hail oil already, which works wonders, and I bought the shampoo and conditioner to go along it (just spending my hard-earned money). I'll probably use it next weekend and let you know how it goes.

now see? I use Infusium 23 shampoo too!! maybe it's just the conditioner that needs changing....
I don't like the infusium conditioners
I've been using Nexxus Humectress....want to find something else. *sigh

I always use the shampoo and conditioner (boo to leave in conditioner) that matches together but I switch which one I use every time I wash my hair, just to keep it on it's toes.

Paul Mitchell is a hair god, I use his stuff everyone once in while.

I have naturally curly hair and have used lots of different
brands. My favourite is VO5 and use a hot oil treatment from
that range once a week.

And once a month I wash my hair with an egg rinse.
Wait five mins and rinse and shampoo, condition as
normal.
Works a treat.
Seriously.
Another trick? With your conditioner do not
rub it into your hair, it can break the strands.
(So I've been told) Instead run your fingers through
your hair, spreading the conditioner through this way.
I have noticed a difference, less 'frizzy' or 'fly away' hair.
I don't blow dry my hair. I lightly towel it semi dry and
put another V05 product in that is a foam which conditions
as well.
Good luck. :)

My hair dries into ringlets down to the middle of my back. Then after a couple of hours it is like an explosion in a steel wool factory... I have tried everything to stop the frizzies but nothing short of super glue does the trick... :(

for a guy i have really thick and soft hair, i usually get the generic version of the herbal essence shampoos and conditioners, they work fine for me, kiwiwolf my one neice has the same problem, i can find out what type of stuff my sister puts in her hair to calm it down if you would like

Right now it's Infusium23 Shampoo and Conditioner for moisturizing.

I just switched from my Tre Semme cycle..

Before it was Pantene Pro V.

I usually switch back and forth, but whatever I choose, it has to be for moisturizing.

I also use Fantastix Organic Bees Wax on dry hair.. right before I use my comb attachment on my hair dryer.. to make my hair shiny and super soft.

Suave.

I've found that when my hair get's really dry, I can just skip a washing. The natural *cringe* oils rejuvenate the hair follicles. You just have to make sure you brush the oils throughout your hair when you have it.

I have very thick wavy hair and come summer I do have a frizz problem , my hair tends not to behave.

As for shampoos I simply use head & shoulders ( 2 in 1 ). Afterwards I put in a leave in serum called FX .. it works really well for frizzy hair & it calms it down. :)

GOD HELP ME!!

I've purchase something called " Bed Head"!!

I will still use the Infusium 23 shampoo and the Humectress conditioner, but I will then use this Bed Head serum....it's silicone based!! *shaking head...........*muttering....why do I buy into this crap????
