"I'm trippin'"

Trippin I believe means almost like I am screwing up almost like stumbeling.

Off the hook means good, awesome I think.

Good questions, JB.

What does the whole shizzle to the fizzle to the bizzle or whateverizzle mean? Eugene Levy was speaking what sounded like English in Bringing Down the House, but damn if I understood a word of it.

That's funny. Someone sent me an e-mail a couple of months ago that said someone else was "macking," and I had to ask a young guy at work what it meant.

i always thought the phrase "you trippin' " comes from how goofy you get when you drop acid.

"I'm trippin" means I are losing my mind, or I don't know what's wrong with me

normally the word trippin' isn't used to descibe oneself but other people example

'off the hook" means awesomes other variations being "off the chain" and "off the hizzo"

That is the lesson in slang for the day.

I have a 13 year old brother, I would be just as lost as you otherwise :D

Hey, its part of my job to know what the kids like.

"I'm trippin' " dates back to the 60's, when the first acid users were discovered at Woodstock. After a group of hippies took the now-infamous "brown acid" they declared they were on a heavy "acid trip" and soon after...their heads exploded. "i'm trippin' " now means "in a few moments, my head will explode."

it's the truth, I read it on the Internet, and if it's on the Net it HAS to be true right?

If I'm wrong, may my penis grow an extra 6 inches

Doll, my sisters are 17 and an 11 years old. I just block them out when they're talking to thier friends on the phone and they know better than to try and talk to me like that. A blank look comes accross my face and finally I say "huh? Speak English! Or at least slang I know like 'chick' or 'dude'."

"chick" and "dude" is considered slang? whoa...what kinda crazy world do I live in now?

Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of blocking them out.

but at least I can work as an interpreter.
