While I type I am giving the cat that has medicine from a syringe into her mouth her syringe. She loves it, and is grabbing at it with her paws.. I wish she took her worming tablet so willingly.

Easier than injections. I had to inject a sick cat twice a day for a week for a friend who was on vacation. The cat was not my friend, and vice versa.

I bet kitty hated seeing you coming!

Drive by posting while enjoying some killer street tacos on the South-side.
That's kind.
I think its really funny when they make a huge fuss about something then are really fine immediately afterwards for a treat. Its hard not to laugh at them.

I think its practicality. At the weekend I saw a really cut little dog. I was all maternal feeling.....I had ' the want' . But I keep saying ' no more, no more'. It will be difficult though, because little guy is a 'dog's dog' and he will out live my girl dog.. I might have to reconsider one day in the future....but at least not now at least.

Well, yes, and no. Yes I think about it, and then I think, no, no, no.. I depends which way the wind blows
Girl dog is not 'old' but certainly no spring chicken any more either and well for now, but her favourite activity is to sit on the sofa and watch tv ( she likes programmes about animal rescue, things where animals fall over or look stupid and dog shows or field trials) or going for car journeys. She no longer likes to do much work, and makes it very clear.
. I look to the future to try and think ahead what to do for the best. Instead I just worry about things I cannot an for.
The horse, if we got one we would get two. We have a few knocking about the place already, but it would only make sense if we got two. And I am not sure if it does. Next year I might see if I can get used to driving a friend's cob and see how the reality of it feels. When I tried before it felt so unnatural to me. I felt how a lot of people who dislike riding have said they feel, like I was out of control and I did not like the movement. I finally understood that feeling.. But now I think maybe I should try again. *shrug* I am very indecisive about the whole thing.

Exactly. She loves agility too.
Yes, I 'do be thinking of swapping out a good deal of my local travel to that. When I was a kid my friend's and I excited whole summers going anywhere and everywhere on ponies/ horses. My life can be paced so I have the time to..
We'll see. I saw a lovely horse who I really do like, but he'd be almost impossible to find a pair for, and i would want a pair. If I find a pair that was right I'd probably be more proactive about it.or at least make a decision.
Probably no where close to me (sigh!) Tacos are considered 'ethnic' up here, perhaps. So if restaurants sell them at all (restaurant = tavern) , they make them taste as dull ('American') as possible.
You haven't forgotten us!!!
A Que sighting!!
I love animals. I have a little Westie. I always wanted horses but no room here in the suburbs. I did take riding classes in college. Loved them!

I heartily recommend trying an Icelandic ! The extra paces are great fun, and while they are not my 'dream horses' they are dear people. The tolt pace is just so much fun and comfortable..

I haven't been to Iceland, just ridden the horses a couple of times. It was huge fun.
Why does your wife resist a dog? Is there something that the right breed of dog could over come? Like a low shedding non drooling breed?
