Oh Que!

I am soooo irritated right now. To look at my ankle you would never even know I had surgery on it again. The Surgeon used the exact same place as my previous one so many years ago. However, today it has been brutally painful, and I thought that was behind me! I have so much to do and so little time to do it...UGH!

Did you do anything unusual today? You might have so much to do, but.....

:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Do you have bar stool, for a breakfast bar or similar? For various reasons I sometimes use this when doing things that require long standing at stove top.

Please, PLEASE be kind to that ankle.

I will. I have to. I need it to be healthy for next month!

Hugs, sweetie. I hope it will get better soon! :(

I did some running around this morning, not a big deal though.

I'm happy it made you think of good things :rose:

Can you get quinces to smell it again? :rose:

I haven't seen them around here, but I called my mom this morning. She's coming to visit this weekend and I asked her to bring some quince jelly. :)

Have fun with your mom Gypsy!!!!

Elle, I am not going to over do it, the 15 year old is in learning stages, this is year number two we will be doing this together and each year I plan on giving her more free reign. This year she will be doing more so I can keep off my feet a bit.

I took Cody for a walk today. He was the happiest doggins that ever lived...

We went 8 blocks and then I had to call it quits and elevate and ice. All within the Dr's guidelines, I promise Elle! It felt so freakin' good!

I bet it felt great! And I can imagine his happiness!

Is the fifteen year old responsible enough to take out too? ( with my dogs I let little guy dog go with friends or even responsible older children and at home I let him follow younger kids into the fields...but I don't let anyone else but G or I take girl dog....)

Is girl dog hard to handle? Cody is a scamp. He knows tricks to get out of his harness, but I am trickier so it rarely happens. When it has happened in the past he runs like the wind, constantly looking for me over his shoulder. If we get separated he comes home and starts the process over again. He is really not smart about cars and ran out in the middle of the highway last time. I was bawling by the time I caught the little bugger.

Oh I am happy for you

That's great!

Girl dog is sensitive, bright and picky about people. She is easy for me to handle and G, but I don't want to put other people , or her, in a difficult position, so we don't.

Poor trickster Cody! You both must have been terrified! Little guy once slipped his lead at a train platform. Thankfully, he responds to commands very well and I yelled for people to leave him alone then told him to sit. Ad he did. THEN I could just go up to him. :).

We got back from being in a small city with them just a short while ago. I'm proud of them. Neither are urban dogs, so its odd for them, but they behaved well. They don't like being petted without being asked first, and sometimes turn away from an outstretched hand. I find this a little sad, even embarrassing but their business. ( girl had a bad incident when she was three before this she was very gregarious and social ) , but little guy is naturally more discerning. If he likes someone he is very pleased to introduce himself to them. He really liked people watching while we had a coffee. And walking around briskly, not so keen on standing and looking at things/ chatting. Girl dog liked going back to the car and coming home best

No one should ever pet a dog without asking for permission from the owner/handler. I hate when people just walk up and think it's ok to do that. It's just as bad as petting pregnant ladies' bellies. Except they won't bite you. Well, probably.
