Oh Que!

I'm just wandering my antisocial ass in here and waving hello.

Sounds like things are going well for everyone in 2016, so far, and that puts a smile on my face. :D

It's only 9:30 at night in a city of 4.1 million people. it seems that someone hung out the closed sign early tonight.

The night is young....perhaps the party is about to get started!

I had just decided to head home when I got a call. Should have just gone home. First one was a flake the second one was drunk and after a while I basically just stopped and told them to fuck off call someone else. Sometimes its good being your own boss. When the customer needs to be told to fuck off you have the freedom to do so.

Contrary to popular belief.... The customer is not always right.

How's your uncle, Jezz?

Hes doing okay. We ate taking it dau by day. My mother on the other hand, a breasy cancer survivor, has had a cold since november she has been on three different antibiotics, steroids, inhalors. Sunday she had another chest xray because she couldnt stop coughing and went to the ER. They had her make an appointment with her doctor for Monday because they saw something on her lung. Wednesday she had a ct scan and we are waitin for the results. They told her it is either pneumonia, tb, or cancer. Fingers crossed pneumonia.

Oh Jezz, I'm so sorry you have this to worry about, too. Yes, fingers crossed for pneumonia. And even TB is easily treated these days. :rose:

Just talked to her, no cancer but they are still not sure whats going on....

That's why Wisc has 4 bars per mile.
What the hell else can you do???
Sorry bout mom.

I am at work, and freezing, well dropping off at goodwill then recycling tv's at best buy and my ass is currently seated on a heated leather seat which means i am warming up...nice hot shower in about 45 minutes...i cannot wait!

I'm in ky toight.
No picnic here. 1st rain, then sleet, then ice, then 8in snow.
And cold too!
Enough of winter already.

Pretty mild here in Anchortown. 25-ish°F here on the flats and prolly close to 32°F at home, up hill. No wind to speak of. No precip until maybe Saturday.

Ah, its good you feel better and more gypsyish :rose:

There are some places I just think hassle makes relocation beyond short/medium term need to have great humour. Otherwise people form fairly unpleasantly outsider expat communities. :(

And yes, the cats are great hunters. :) I just do not WANT rats coming in. I don't have a phobia of rats, I just think they are dirty, like mice, ( who I think are cute) and washing every surface and soft furnishing their incontinent little bodies might have been near before annihilation is tiresome :D

I'm getting there. Still more antisocial than normal, but I'm on day 10 of my yoga cycle. That always makes me feel better all around. :)

Our kitties don't go out much so all the hunting they do is for the random fly that wonders in or a spider they find. So gross. They hunt it and eat it.

I get Cody back when I have time to make the ten hour round trip... Having one day off a week is not cutting it!

I thought you were on light duty!!
I hope your mom will get better soon and you guys get good news about her results. :rose:

A rare Que sighting! :)
I would think Wednesday nights aren't usually that busy.

Just pulled out a fresh loaf of bread from the oven. I love when the butter melts on the warm bread. so yummy.

4.1 million? That's a village here!
Which makes my hometown 'çity' in Australia - a population of about 60 000, a truck stop!

But hey be grateful for small mercies, we have trouble sleeping because of the muffled 'doof doof' from a nearby KTV at 2 am.

Hey pensive, i hope that you are doing well in KY and the weather cleared up for you?

Gypsy! Fresh baked bread??? I bet your house smelled awesom...i used to do things lije that.

So moms results showed no czncer but she has a comoressiin fracture in her back. This is the second one, she already has six inches of metal from the first time! Of course this is not the reason she is having the lung issues. We still dont know what is going on there

I sure hope they figure out what's going on with your mom and get her all healed up.
