They should now that you've pointed to it. An interesting response to the exercise.Blizzards rock. Gee, it's a "shame" that we don't have them down here.
My first is written in First Person
My second is written in Second Person
My third is written in Third Person
I wonder if any readers are going to catch that.
Not a lot of readers come here, so I feel safe. It was a fun exercise, I've never written in first and second person, 750 words is a good warm-up. I'm going to have to do that more often. They should now that you've pointed to it. An interesting response to the exercise.
Kind of like the “I voted” sticker on Election Day…lol.Where do I get my "Proud to be a 750-Word Challenge Submitter" sticker?
Which I have lined up stuck against the edge of the bookcase to the right of my desktop computer--11 of them now. I'm sure there have been more but I haven't remembered to stick them on every time. I also haven't remembered just to clear them all off.Kind of like the “I voted” sticker on Election Day…lol.
Starting to feel like there are going to be so many submissions in this challenge that I need to change my current title from a word that begins with “S” to one that starts with “A” just so readers find it!Four complete! They don't have anything to do with each other, each is in a different category written in different perspectives.

I think I need to start working on better titles.
The way to avoid the deluge is to wait a few days into the posting to submit. I'll be submitting one a day to avoid the crowd a bit.Starting to feel like there are going to be so many submissions in this challenge that I need to change my current title from a word that begins with “S” to one that starts with “A” just so readers find it!
So how does that change things when all stories are scheduled to post on March 1st?The way to avoid the deluge is to wait a few days into the posting to submit. I'll be submitting one a day to avoid the crowd a bit.
I don't think they are all scheduled to post on a single day. I think the first will post on 1 February and the last, under this exercise, on 1 March. So how does that change things when all stories are scheduled to post on March 1st?
Mine are also going in non-erotic. Maybe they'll hate mine and be more appreciative of your bedtime story.I only have one done, and I don't know that i will have time to do another. I am working on my April Fools Story right now.
My 750 word story is a Non-erotic one, I took an old bedtime story I wrote for my wife years ago, and re-wrote it and edited until I had the write amount of words. I do not expect it to do well, but I hope it will at least not do horribly.
It's meant as a bedtime story for Daddy-Doms to read to Littles...I have several of them I have written over the years...some have mild sexual tones to them, but nothing heavy..because of course, it is a bedtime story...meant to calm you, not excite you..lol But of course that and the non-erotic category means I will likely not get a ton of views or great ratings...
Who knows....I'll have to wait and find out I guess....
The anthology lists cycle through the stories regularly, changing their order, so there's nothing to worry about, list-wise.Starting to feel like there are going to be so many submissions in this challenge that I need to change my current title from a word that begins with “S” to one that starts with “A” just so readers find it!
Hmmm. Maybe I am thinking of the contest lists cycling, and anthology lists could well be fixed - but why wouldn't they cycle, too? If they don't, there go my plans for Zara the Zoologist. I could have sworn thinking I was being clever, then didn't need to be.Are you sure? For contests that's correct, but I believe that the lists for challenges are fixed, and probably in alphabetical order. At least, that seems true for last year.

Am I doing something wrong, or misunderstanding something? When I hit submit, the work's immediately moved from draft to pending. Isn't that automatic? That was quick. Submitted and pending in less than an hour!
Mine is listed as pending, with the listing shown as Erotic Couplings, with the little symbols all in place, as if it were ready to go live.Am I doing something wrong, or misunderstanding something? When I hit submit, the work's immediately moved from draft to pending. Isn't that automatic?
OK, thanks. I've never noticed categories and symbols. I'll keep an eye out.Mine is listed as pending, with the listing shown as Erotic Couplings, with the little symbols all in place, as if it were ready to go live.
From memory, that usually takes more time - but things are changing in the system nowadays, so maybe it's still sitting, to be reviewed. But my last, longer, story went up in less than 24 hours, so fast turn-arounds do happen. And it is only 750 words.
