Obsession

It's not about sleep in the strict sense of the word. It's about suggestion and the ability to make you adopt the orphan idea, as your own. You know, an insatiable desire to find out what's under his armor.

to have such powers would make one quite lukky.:D

Learning to disagree agreeably

and you, LK...what is your position on this missionary?:D
I am NOT on the missionary, and he's not my kind of guy in the first place. He wants to have everybody see things his way.

I want to have everybody say, and believe, it's ok to believe what you believe as long as you respect that I may disagree.

Under the armor....

Maybe I already know. :) Makes ya wonder, eh? And I have an open mind. If someone can show me I am wrong, sure, I will adopt their idea, then clean it all up, iron it, spray some perfume on it and make it my own.

I guess I was being too vague, sir K. The 'missionary' was referring to your previous remark.

I was just attempting...er...nevermind:cool:

~LOL~ @eros

Inquiring mind, eh? Some things neither a gentleman nor I will divulge, but I will offer this insight into Sempre: she's good in the kitchen.

 So are you! You do have a most sinful way with chocolate! Not to mention your nuts!

hmmm....maybe I shoud back out of here....lol

I am definitely syllogistically challenged, because the way to my heart is not through my stomach:D

LOL!

Not at all, Erosman. You are more than welcome to stay. I have a bit of exhibitionist in me. :D I bet you couldn't tell that could you? LOL!

syllogistically challenged?

Right, I'm sure that's soooo true, eros. If you're going to be bringing in those $3 words you're going to have to post links from them to dictionary.com for the rest of us. Or suggestive, erotic art - that works for me, too.

yes...that exhibitionist gene...lol. Perhaps, mine is recessive...or maybe just repressed;)

I am off to bed, methinks.
enjoy:kiss:

the lower case 'e' is for understated purpose

Goodnight, Erosman. It was very nice to meet you. Be patient with the teens. It is all worth it in the end. :rose:

Yep, pretty soon they'll be old enough to come in here acting like fools, it's all good, eros!

syllogistic, suggestive, erotic art?

That sounds like a challenge for the minds of Lit.

hmmm....an Italian seraph in a white teddy feeding chocolate covered oysters through a hinged, abdominal opening in the armor of one fortunate knight

Why would anyone feed the oysters? If the lady's dressed like that and has my armor ajar the oysters will have to arrange their own dinner.

see...it worked...your armor is erect:D

slumber postponed for cinematic venture:cool:
nite, SA

Then perhaps we shall return to the topic of people who can't see the irony of wanting the approval and attention of a group they appear to despise. One wonders how to help them shed the self-imposed shackles of their posturing.

When a person is so transparently childish in their attempts to garner attention, why cannot adults see that and react with the same indifference which teaches real children how to participate properly?

I just found this thread, and LK - I knew there was a reason I thought you were fabulous. Now you've just added yet another.
Well said and well done!

It is a simple matter, GEG, in spite of the way this thread meandered. With a nod to my old friend Sempre for pointing out there's more to participation than conformity, I repeat/paraphrase an insight from one of the greatest thinkers of modern history:

You must be the change you wish to see in the world.

Ah, Lukky. You've been a pleasure to read from day one. I admit I sometimes let the ill will in others bring out the lesser side of me, and you really are an inspiration to do better, and not just here on the board. You, like so many others here, are worth enduring a thousand trolls.

Hugs Lukky....

It amazes me how people cannot learn from history. Thank you for your tale. Within it holds many truths that I feel can apply to each of us. I know there were some things in it that I could relate to.

Life is like a rollar coaster we have to take the good with the bad.

I hope things are treating you well. Major hugs and a soft kiss upon those lips of yours.

Peace,
Tulip

tulip - LTNS!

Other than being stalked and having a social life that a recluse would envy things are treating me better than a dog treats a hyrdrant. I spend a lot of time on the search for intelligent life.

How come I do not find it

difficult to believe that you are being stalked. Dang I tried so many months ago to stalk you but you outwitted me. Go figure. So have you found intelligent life out there? Hugs carefully for fear you might think I am stalking you.

Peace,
Tulip
