If the new story I did ever finishes being edited so I can get it posted, it has objects in it *sigh*

Actually on topic...

Just thought I would pop back on and say that I thought about this thread yesterday when I was in my jeep and I was waiting at a light and I looked over.....the gear shifter.

Dunno about the reality of it...but the idea was interesting.

Just make sure the shift knob is secure...

I remember reading a story (I don't know if it's true or not) about a young couple who were out in his Falcon (an Aussie 'muscle' car (at least it was back in the '70's)). After she 'took care' of him, she straddled the gearstick while he revved the engine (I'm assuming the car was in neutral gear).

They'd apparently done this a few times, but on this particular occasion, the gearshift knob came loose... and stayed inside! I don't think I would have liked to be either of them trying to explain the circumstances to the ER

I'm sure those folks in the ER have seen much much worse but admittedly I wouldn't exactly want to be their bulletin board or gossip material for the week either.
