There's a rating system at CL, and if enough people consider a post to be offensive and say so-- the post goes to the isle of oblivion.

It's possible to banish a poster, if enough people ask for that. It does take some concentrated trolling-- I've seen people rile up enough forum members to get themselves banned, but I've never gotten people that pissed off myself...

I actually started to think I was wrong here, but now that so many people who are too smart to be lured into his forum have spoken up I am really glad it happened.

Maybe someday the trolls will move on and real people will start to enjoy this particular forum more. The laughable part is that some people here are so arrogant and short sightedthat even now they will run on and on about how wrong I am and how I should have known the place was infested with rats.

It generally sounds like a lie when it's prefaced with stuff like "Oh, I said I wouldn't be back, but..." and randomly thrown out there in a last ditch attempt to lash out at the meanies who hurt people's feelings.

I mean, crap, we only said that there was no effort at discussion and that involving other people was bad juju. No one gave the OP a ripping for all the snide 'well, you're not really into wiitwd if you don't understand the total obedience and control and power that is me getting what I want and then having to post a story about it' stuff!
