It's a little raised plateau, grassy, shielded by trees on one side, accessible only by leaving the footpath and striking up where it looks like only sheep go. It's a suntrap of a warm summer evening.

Don't forget finding a secluded little hidden cove near a creek or a river for some skinny dipping and play in the water. I recommend it completely.

It sounds like you're speaking from experience, there, Mr TN... I bet you give great picnic.

The cove is a great idea. I need to locate one of those. A river or lake or suchlike is also good for keeping the wine cool I'd like a romantic-looking waterfall somewhere about, too.

Be sure to keep your secret picnic area out of the sun. You would not want chapped lips. I can think of a couple of positions.
