I went looking for pictures of Tara from the 'Gone With the Wind' film, but I got a bit distracted by this one of Scarlett's underwear:

I wonder if anyone would ever consider a remake of that film. Or is it just too iconic?

GWTW is an iconic motion picture to be sure but anything is certainly possible. Considering it was released in 1940 it's more then withstood the tests of time. FWIW there was a TV Mini series back in 1994 called Scarlett which was supposed to be a follow on to GWTW.

You're right, though, about that type of movie. I thought twice about posting the picture, actually, because the clear racial divide made me feel a little uncomfortable, but then I thought, well, it is what it is, that's the film they made, and it reflects what went on back then. And if that brings us up sharp in modern times, that's a good indication of how far we've come, I'd say.

And also, I really liked the underwear

That's a good question!

Actually, once it's on, it'll probably stay on throughout. Which is partly down to how fiddly they are to get on and off, but also because they essentially stop at the hip bone, so there's nothing stopping any kind of delicious filthiness taking place with it still on. Plus, a corset with steel collar and cuffs - that's a good look, right?

P.S. Beguiled: "Cpl. John McBurney is an injured Union soldier who finds himself on the run as a deserter during the Civil War. He seeks refuge at an all-female Southern boarding school where the teachers and students seem more than willing to help. Soon, sexual tensions lead to dangerous rivalries as the women tend to his wounded leg while offering him comfort and companionship."

Too iconic and too controversial given its subject matter...I don't think any movie would want to take that risk. But like tnman said, there is a sequel that follows Scarlett as she travels closer to your neck of the woods.

I like research...

I think I slightly prefer white with untanned skin, somehow. The tan can look a bit ... much ... against white. Weirdly, my favourite red slip looks much more pink than red when I'm tanned.

There's a theory that a lady blushes all over during orgasm. I wonder if that's true?
