Right as usual, erotic English Lady. I placed second in the Earth Day contest, so should be able to crawl back into the ring for the Halloween competition. The way I read the rules, TxRad will be a non-combatant until the Valentine Day dust-up.

Of course, you can still compete for the coveted last place title and are eligible for the monthly contests.

Copy and paste the info from the 'Please Read' thread and be prepared to bump the thread every day until September.

There are no entrance examinations required to become part of the Author's Hangout.

Starting and maintaining your own thread is a good introduction to the heavy responsibilities. Of course at least half your threads will die within hours and you will start bitching about 'No one listens to me!' - then you know that being part of the AH is no big deal. You do not have any more status than the most recent newbie.

Winners are disqualified for six months

Extract from Literotica's contest rules:

"Individuals are only eligible to win once in any 6-month period. (i.e. If you win in January, you cannot win again until July.) Also, no author may win more than one prize in any one contest. In the case of two stories by the same author qualifying for two or three prizes, only the higher prize will be awarded.

The only exception to this is that an author can win in 1 monthly contest and 1 theme contest within a 6-month period. However, a single story can only win one monthly or theme contest. (i.e. If a story is deemed a winner in the Valentine's Day contest, that story cannot win the February contest.)"

You can of course win the last place contest and get a prize in the main contest (I hope with different stories!)

I have permanently disqualified myself from the Last Place contest because 1. I am de Judge, and
2. I have won too often and have an unfair advantage because of my undoubted skill and expertise (at producing low-rated stories).
