Rules for last place contest

Copied this from other thread.

Two threads on the Nude Day Contest are enough. Three is too much.

Order for coming last:

Lowest voted rating for a genuine attempt at a story multiplied by number of votes if less than 25 divided by 25.

So - if rating is 3.00 but only 12 votes the score would be

3.00 x 12 / 25 = 1.44

If rating is 3.00 but more than 25 votes, the rating stays the same.

I suggest ignoring number of reads except as a tie breaker when least number of reads would *win*.

'Muslim Roles' is now on 3.43 with only 7 votes.

'Pride' is over 4.00 with over 50 votes.

I am halfway through writing the third entry. Do I need to?

You guys think you have last place stitched up, but you better watch out for my story, because it is STRUGGLING. There are a lot of unkind voters out there

I also agree if it comes down to a tie breaker, story with lowest number of readers should win out of sheer disinterest!

It's going sloooow. I keep thinking of more details to add in, because I am remembering more.

I never used to be too hot on detail, but somebody's influence has changed that. I'd better get a shift on, because I want him to proofread it for me, before I submit.

Maybe it's the weekend but I submitted mine yesterday (Saturday) at 1500 bst and not even any views at 0830 Sunday morning.

I know about aversion to Muslims. That is why I wrote a story with a Muslim theme.

Al-wotsit is about as representative of Muslims as the IRA are for Catholics. Neither religion supports violence or terrorism and their basic values are generally acceptable to anyone.

And you have made teasing into a fine art. Thanks.

My third entry is growing. I thought I was nearly finished but now I have to add another character from the start because I can't have the heroine doing the dirty deed and getting the hero. Not in this story without a total rewrite. Shame.

Any more entries pending?

PS. Doing a story with 'Muslim' in the title seems to have improved my chances for the coveted last place. I only have 11 votes and the rating is still in the 3.50 range. 'Pride' is rated about 4.11 and isn't going to succeed at either end of the competition.

I agree. I thought Muslim Roles was more interesting and hot. I guess it's one of those more polarising stories.

I hope I have not done what might annoy people.

I have written a novella based in a mythical place called Santa Royale. There are six chapters. Santa Royale is exhibitionist/nude heaven. Since it fit so well, I decided to submit it for my Nude Day 2004 submissions.

The thing is, I intend to use the Santa Royale world in several other stories and I need to develop the world a bit first.

Is the submission of six stories too much? TIA.
