^^ Heidi/Thea was at 116 earlier today and it's now at 124, so I can't tell if any got taken out. Score's been bouncing around some too.
Interesting. I know I got a one early on -- my third vote -- but I have not seen it go away. My score is very steady and my votes roll in a few a day.

I haven't lost any votes that I can see, but I don't have nearly as many as the rest of you are getting either. Regardless, I'm not in this to win. I'm gaining followers, so I'm happy with that.

I noticed, was wondering when she took him home but was wearing a ring if it was maybe a female partner, and thought 'yay, was right' when the voice was female but not Heidi in the doorway....
..... but i liked the 'did that thing with her pussy' part even better..... lots mention squirting but very few mention pompoir, at least that i've seen in stories...

Just wondering, I haven't got a story in the challenge this time (going to enjoy being a reader) but my best rated stories are now steadily getting downvoted. Are the contest downvoting trolls spilling into the general top lists? I'm thinking it might be best to wait submitting my new story until the results are published if thats so.

Perhaps it's relevant that the sweeps mostly happen at the end of contests, so we might expect general downwards drift between contests?

It just dropped off the “new” page so these probably won’t change much before the end of the contest. In just a few days it has done better than my other stories that have been out for months. I’m very happy with the responses.
I had a different ending in mind when I started writing, but when I got to this point it just felt right.
It's always the quiet ones you have to watch out for.

Which category? 410 votes would be an astronomical number on any of my stories, especially on under 14k views. Good comment ratio, too.

Romance. There were only five or six new stories each day, so I was on the New page for five days. Also, I specifically asked for votes and comments so that might have helped as well. Your “picture” story asked for votes in a more subtle way. (So that you know I did steal your start and finish comments as the starting point for mine, I just edited them a little.)
I expect that my Gay Male story will not do as well. That category gets 12-15 stories a day so it will only be on the new page for a couple of days. But it gets a lot more readers, so who knows?

Interesting. Perhaps I should be posting there next time.
My story last month in Romance got a very similar rating (4.68 vs 4.65), slightly higher votes/view but fewer views. Maybe the extra views are from the contest effect. Or maybe there were slightly fewer submissions recently than there were last month. My memory is that there were eight the day mine debuted.
I pushed submit too soon.
I was going to add, that Romance seems to have similar levels of engagement per view to LW, without the negatives. Or the number of views.
