did the seasons every wind up?

I saw more rerums this season than I did new shows.

It was like play two new shoesws reruns them for 6 weeks play two more new shows rerun them and the other two for another 6 weeks.

Buffy had a whole 6 weeks without one new episode
Enterprise had a 4 week gap at one point
Xfiles did a 8 week stint of reruns

plus the usual new rerun pattern.

maybe I am getting two old but i thought it used to be a new season started in septmber and played a new episode EVERY week until the end of april, not just when they felt like it.

WWF .. er.. WWE ... er whatever the hell it's gettign called now.. Doesn't ever have a "season finale" and it happens to be the only "series" I follow week after week. Partly because of that very reason.

I hate cliffhangers.. Leave me in suspence for a few hours if you have to.. I can handle a week... three summer months without knowing whats going to happen?? Not a chance in hell!

Is that like Autumn reruns? Winter reruns? Spring reruns? Geez do they ever make new shows anymore?
