with gas going to 4 plus by the end of march and possibly 5 by voting day its unlikely at this point he can do anything to not go down as the worse president of ALLL time thats right ALLL TIME unless your thinking of the other commie president carter!!

Not to get all serious in your thread of baiting derpsters, but I think that many of the woes of the current GOP can be traced to "fighting the last war", which losing generals are always said to do.
It's not 1978. There's no union wage driven inflation for a Volker to crack and a Reagan to take credit for beating. No one cares about sex, drugs, and rock and roll any more.

I must admit, I'm everything wrong with American politics. I don't like Obama's Republican tendencies one bit (his plan to "grand bargain" away the social safety net in search of cred with so called "independents--who are actually just upper middle class folks who don't like taxes but don't mind gay marriage--is one example)
But I'm going to vote for him, only because it will cause much suffering for people I hate, if he wins.
