Before I ran away from home, I was Houstonian, Texacan. But once I made my way to OKC, found myself in my foster home, and grew up here, I'm an OKIE through and through. I may have roots steeped in Texas history, but all my love is in the red dirt of Oklahoma. And through my adoptive family, I have a history reaching back to the late 1600s in America. A couple of digressions. What sounds like blue-grass music is called, I believe, "red dirt" when made by musicians from Oklahoma and maybe Texas too.

Yes, she's had a long and varied career. She came back to Willow last year but then the series was cancelled. She won an Emmy for Upstairs, Downstairs in 1975, and was nominated three other times for the same show. She was about 25 at the time of the Twilight Zone episode.

The convict, Jack Warden (1920-2006) also had a long career, and appeared in many movies and TV shows. He was nominated for an Oscar twice and won an Emmy for Brian's Song in 1972.
