My wife is not interested in a dildo or penis shaped vibrators. I would like to intorduce toys that would increase her pleasure in bed so I was wondering if anyone uses, has used, or prefers non-phallic vibrators like the Magic Wand or a "massager" from Sharper Image.
Also, I am pretty sure that I should not go right for her crotch with it but take it slow, start with a massage. Any advice on how to introduce this would help also.
Thank you

You might want to try something small that packs a whollop, like the pocket rocket. The first time I used this little marvel on my wife she came so hard so many times she soaked the bed. Goodluck.

From talking to some women...

...recently in a very frank discussion I discovered that the vib/dildos shaped like various sea-going vessels is very popular.

Who would have thought a miniaturized oil tanker would be so erotic?

I guess that's still sort of phallic-shaped in length and girth but still.

absolutley take it slow.
All to often during sex we get so excited about the main course that we forget to feast on the appetizers as well.

For many women clitoral stimulation can often become overpowering if you are using any type of vibrating device. The clitoris is highly sensitive and the constant hum of a vibe can, as Pink orchid mentioned cause some women to numb up. I know for me it can almost become painful and totally ruin the mood!

This would be my suggestion:

If you have access to a hot tub at home this would be ideal, but if not consider renting a room at a nice hotel that has one. Massage her entire body, calves and especially feet. Relax her body and spirit them invite her to the hot tub. Contine the cuddling and holding and try to work her body so that she will be facing one of the hot tub jets. Spread her legs slightly and allow the jets to tickle her vaginal lips. The sensation is delicious I assure you. Standing behind her mover her closer so that the rush of water can access her clitoris. While the water jets work their magic massage her breasts, nibble her neck you know the drill.;) Allow her to be teased and tantilized by the rushing water but don't let her cum. When you know she's close take her out of the tub, towel her off, take her up to the bedroom and reap the rewards.

The good thing about this seduction is that the power behind the jets provides excellent clitoral pressure but because it is happening under water there is no rough vibrating, or numbing effect.
You can also accomplish a similar effect with a portable shower head, or if your wife is flexible by positioning her vagina under the rush from the tub faucet.

Vibrating eggs are a nice option, especially if she gets into g-spot sitmulation.

Good luck!

*nodds* i'd have to agree...i love my vibrating egg...it's so great!!! but i think i'm getting addicted...i keep wanting it more and more often...

i have a natural contors vibe that my beloved bought me for last xmas. in the uk you get them by mail order from gash.co.uk . there are about 4 or 5 different ones. they are different colours and not all phalic shapes. designed as they are by women for women.... i fully recomend them to everyone!!! they're ergonimically designed you know!

I have a Hitachi Massager (sometimes called a "Magic Wand) and I couldn't imagine life without it! I bought my first one back in the 80s, and finally killed it last year. I just about died until I got its replacement! I like it for several reasons:

1. It is electric, so while I might be limited geographically due to the cord, I don't have to fuss with batteries. A big plus when traveling or those late night urges!

2. It is dual speed, but for me, the lowest speed offers a more penetrating vibration that I just haven't been able to find in other vibrators.

3. It is a pleasure to use on other parts of the body as well - even in non-erotic situations. If I come home with a lot of stress or tension, 5 minutes with this, and I feel all better. When used erotically, it provides a deep vibration for all parts of the body: neck, arms, legs, back (specially yummy!), as well as more erotic spots.

4. If some one happens to see it in my bedroom, it doesn't raise any suspicions. I've even used it in the livingroom when I've had stress. No one realizes that it is my favorite "toy"!

5. It now comes with attachments - one for penetration (regular) and one for g-spot stimulation. I believe this is fairly new.

It is a bit big and heavy, can be pricey, but it lasts a long time. It looks very "non-threatening" (it was the first "vibe" a man used on me), and truly helps in stimulating the entire body. It's best used slowly, taking your time, and letting your wife direct the movements.

I do have phallic shaped dildos/vibes, vibrating eggs, and a pocket rocket. Still, my favorite is my "wand"! What can I say? It's the only "toy" that stays plugged in by my bed!

Good luck!
