Okay, my turn to rant. I heard one today I still don't believe.

Next week is high school graduation at my daughter's school. One of her best friends is a senior and is graduating.

This girl's parents are divorced but she is, or at least was, close to both of them.

The girl e-mailed her dad asking him to please come to her graduation. Her dad's wife replied that since this girl "hadn't been there for her dad, she didn't deserve him at her graduation."

Needless to say, this will not be as happy an occasion as it was supposed to be.

What kind of complete bitch would send a note like that.

And is the father a complete cowardly bastard that had his wife do his dirty work for him, or is he a complete idiot who doesn't know what a total piece of shit he is married to.

That does suck...do you think the father knows the wife got this message? Maybe she saw it ahead of time and answered for him and then deleted it?

That is being a total bitch!

A., in today's paper online I read a review of the SF symphony's performance of Beethoven's third symphony, the Eroica, which is also my second fave of his (7th is first). I got online and bought a ticket for tonight, the last performance. It's going to be wonderful, I know it.

Once when my sons were babies I was in a bad depression, and one night a special TV performance of ballet was on. Natalia Makarova (great great ballerina) danced a solo and it was so amazingly beautiful and near perfect I instantly felt better. I was actually taken out of my depression by beauty. I am certain it will happen tonight.

I know it will be short-lived, but it's something, eh?

Besides the Eroica, the bill also includes the third piano concerto. I love all five of them, so this will be wonder-filled too. Then the evening will end on the final movement of the symphony and it will be as good as a fuck. I know it.
