"About 80% of all unemployed people find a new job after 90 days", says a representative for the Unemployment Agency.
When investigating the matter, a journalist found that it was actually only 29%.
The minister of employment (hjälp, svenskar, hur översätter man arbetsmarknadsminister?) says he believes more in what his fellow Riksdag members tells him, than mere statistics, because "the members of the Riksdag (Swedish parliament) are more in touch with real life".
After looking through the numbers, the representative at the top of this post says that 80% was unrealistic, 42% is more realistic.
When people of authority babbles the way they do, and then turn out to be completely off track, HOW CAN WE TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY????
An investigation shows that it's as hard to find a new job after one year as after 6 months. I haven't worked for more than 2 years.
