Just thinking aloud...

I wish I had super-long arms, so that I could reach across the Atlantic, all the way to Alabama, and give a sad friend a tight hug.

Lou

I know what u mean...if only we could do a friendship circle hug!!

I talk to my kids' triops. Fascinating little buggers. They do nothing but kick their many legs about underneath them, searching through crap (and other stuff) for food. Must be a very fulfilling life. Anyway, my talking seems to be working, one of them looked at me yesterday, I swear it did!

Lou - not crazy.

I talk to my pig, and she really does listen. It's actually a little strange sometimes. She sit's ther looking right at me and I know she's really thinking, "You are such an idiot, if I had opposable thumbs you'd be out on the street in a second."

CD ~ Mad as hatter. :D

:D YUP! :p

I have actual conversations with my dog, for real! I come downstairs in the morning and he greets me with a windmill tail and a "Haaallllllllllloooooooooooo". He really does say it!! I then ask him if he wants some biccies and he says, "A-row-row-row-roooooooooooooowwwww!!" (which is dog talk for "Of course I do, you silly tart, why else do you think I'm so pleased to see you? My stomach has been growling at me for hours, waiting for you to haul your lazy arse downstairs.")

He's a very chatty collie.

Lucky girl. I'm stuck with two cats, one of which is a siamese. I don't get to wake up to my alarm. He wakes me up about a half hour before my alarm (i don't know why i set it anymore). "I want my food NNNOOOOOO-OOOOOWWWWWW-WWWWWWWWWWW"

anyone who knows a siamese will understand. The other one is an orange cream stripe and she just sits right in front of my face and stares at me until I feel someone staring at me and open my eyes to see her face half an inch from mine.
Sheesh!

what's a tuxedo cat? a black and white?
I thought only dogs farted.

my siamese drools when he's happy, which happens whenever he's in my lap. I had to move him to sleep next to me and out of my lap because a) he was in the way of my typing and b) i'd rather have my computer in my lap since it won't drool on my arm when it is falling asleep.

I have a very big dog, and he doesn't drool or smell bad. He's an akita, and most dignified of dogs. He won't deign to chase a ball or anything, might ruin his reputation.

Mojo objected to your "smell bad" comment, and insisted I let you know.
