adding government workers will not improve our economy

There is quite a bit more government spending in Scandinavia than in Greece, and Scandinavia thrives. Government employment paid for by extremely high taxes on the rich ended the Great Depression and fueled the expansion of the middle class during the 1950s and 1960s.
