Arizona police officer asked not to wear uniform at daughter’s school.
A police officer who dropped off his daughter at her Phoenix elementary school was asked by the school’s principal not to wear his uniform to the school because other parents were concerned that he was carrying a gun, MyFoxPhoenix.com reported.

Sounds like in both cases extreme left wing apparatchiks were overruled either by lawyers, or cooler heads, letting them know that the revolution hasn't yet been won.

Meanwhile, school officials' initial reaction was to ask the officer not to wear his gun and uniform to school, they are now saying they want to turn this incident into "a teachable moment."

They invited the officer to a special assembly to talk about what police officers do for the community.

Teach them what? The school people don't know whats OK to teach, that's the issue. Its like gravity is decided by committee or maybe the North Star can be the South Star, to be fair.

Might not be far off. The magnetic north pole is moving about 40 miles a year and accelerating, so eventually the North Star may very well become the South Star.

In any case, when I said "school officials" I was talking about the teachers also.
