I've posted the first 7 chapters of a story which has been very well received but am no longer getting chapters approved for publication. No rejection, just no consideration. It's been a few days and usually several are approved at once so a new one can go live every day. I filled out the form to contact Laurel yesterday ( https://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=7&page=contact ) but got no response. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful.

Everything submitted late last week and over the weekend has been taking longer than usual. No, I don't know what's up, but whether it's exceptionally heavy submissions or some other issue, stories are coming through but taking a fair while.

Give Laurel some time.
She does this by herself and sometimes things just get lost in the shuffle or something.
I've never had a serious problem with her responding.
She's always been pleasant and helpful.

Some stories take longer. Stories with pics, audio, and such are often a few weeks. Besides, they are posting something. New stories have been appearing each day.

If it helps any, I'm currently having the same problem.

Just gotta wait it out I guess.

It's useful to know, thanks!

Forgot to add... my most recent story (which posted uh, this morning, depending on your time zone...) was pending for just over four days and was clearly marked as an April Fools contest entry. Those usually get posted more quickly (my Valentine's Day entry took barely 24 hours). So my guess is if your submission isn't a contest entry, those seem to be taking even longer...

Also, when I've had this happen in the past and I sent a PM to Laurel, I never received a direct reply, the story just (eventually) was posted.

And given that the usual number of new stories seem to be getting posted each day, it might just be some sort of HUGE flood of submissions. There are (so far) just over 50 April Fool's contest entries posted (and this is usually one of the less popular contests), so it isn't solely those causing the backlog.
