My wife and I don't have a headboard... But want to tie each other up... Anybody know of any tips/tricks to make this easier?

If using rope ; tie the rope to the legs of the bed. Or take two lengths of rope, lay it out on the bed in an X pattern, upper left to lower right and upper right to lower left, make sure they are long enough to reach each corner with at least a 4 - 5 foot excess, then take where they cross and tie a knot to keep them together. Then lift the matress and spread the rope in the same X pattern between the matress and the springs. The weight of the matress and person should keep them securly bound. Or you could place the rope between the matress and frame for the same purpose. This worked with my futon and should work with a regular matress. Have fun, enjoy, and SSC.

SSC?

And I was wondering if there are like (Soft) handcuffs or something like rope attached to them so that they can attach to the legs.

SSC = Safe, Sane and Consensual.

As for bondage without a headboard there are lots of ways to accomplish it. You can google up toy sites (sorry, don't have any handy right now) ot invest in things like cuffs that don't have to be attached to a bed. Also there are plenty of tying variations that don't require the person being bound to be bound to a piece of furniture necessarily such as tying wrists together to binding her wrists to her ankles etc.

yeah... im thinkin i wanna try to get her to let me tie her hands behind her back and just make her sit on her knees...

That works, just make sure you check the rope (or whatever you use) and make sure you don't cut off her circulation.

We have a waterbed frame, so K drilled a couple of holes in the bottom, and we loop ropes through it.

did the same with links of chain bought from the hardware store - worked well too - i attached clasps to all for extended ends (like what would be on a dog leash) and it made the shackles as well - just wrap the extended pieces around and clasp back to the same chain link - voila! (easy to tuck all evidence right under the mattress again when done - and nothing to loose.

You don't even have to do the X under the mattress. Just put one rope (you can just slip it in between the mattress and the box spring) near the top and the same near the bottom. You can tie a loop on the ends and then use scarfs through the loops to tie up the hands and legs. Hope you can understand...hard to explain.

If you have a "hollywood frame" (one of the metal ones), you can use the legs as tie down points. Or, if you want to get creative, you can get some cargo straps. Take the straps and run them around both legs on one side of the frame. Same thing on the other side. Once that is done, all you need is rope and imagination. If your looking for "soft cuffs", you can go to any local adult store and look through the selection. I noticed that you were in CT. We are also. What part are you in? Have you heard of DS Toychest?

Whoa... never knew about the place in meriden... kinda far for me though...

i'm thinkin order up some cuffs, and get some rope from Home Depot... :) Anybody ever done that?

I've never bought rope at Home Depot or Lowes. For rope, I go to an outdoor shop that sells climbing supplies. I get the 7 or 8 mm 'parachute' cord. It comes in a wide variety of colors and is usually tested to about 1000 Kg. I also buy a few (real) carabiners for suspension and use those little inexspensive 'carabiner' keychain thingies for restrain purposes. The real carabiners will hold up to 2000 Kg and the keychain variety will break at about 70 Kg. The parachute cord goes for around $.90 / Ft and is the type reccomended by Jay Wiseman in his book ' The Erotic Bondage Handbook'. Well worth the price since it shows diagrams of several positions and how to tie them. It also has a section on safety.

We have both hemp rope and nylon rope. The hemp rope we got online and the (solid braided) nylon came from home depot. I once bought 400 feet of 1/4" solid braided nylon rope from home depot. The guy asked me what I was buying it for and I told him it was to tye up my wife. He snickered and commented "thats going to be an awfully long cloths line".

We went to EMS sports and bought the carbiners that I use for suspensions. I actuallt only use them for inverted suspensions. As for climbing rope, for a beginner it woudl be too stuff and rough. When I speak with people first getting into rope bondage, I sugegst using solid braided nylon. Make sure it is solid braid. Don't get any with a core in it as it does not lay right. And the solid braid nylon is kind of soft compared to other ropes. Whatever you do, stay away from clothsline cord!!

I agree with heckle about the core rope and the clothesline stuff. The climbing rope I use, I first ran through the washer four times with no soap, that softened it up pretty well. Of course the noise the washer made during that period was rather interesting. :D

Rope

I've found the best rope in marine stores. They usually have sizes from a fraction of a inch to several inches in diameter. The cotton ropes are wonderful- no need to soften. All the ropes are strong since they are designed for hoisting sails and moorings. For you people in Kansas-SORRY! Find a friend near the ocean.

=============

i have no idea. "I" sleep on a mattress on the floor.......so it is even more difficult.

If the landlord's okay with holes in the wall and you're not talking weight bearing bondage, screw in a few eyebolts at the top of the bed. I had a sub once with a bad shoulder and she couldn't take arms spread bondage really well. But scooting her up in the bed and tying her wrists to the wall above her head worked great.

advice

i once placed a clothes horse between the wall & the front of the bed & tied my g/f to that...worked well.i like to tie her up using the cords from our bath robes.

We sell bed bondage systems for those that do not have a headboard. Easy to use, easy to hide and alot of fun to play with.
You can also use Eye hooks attached to the underside of the beds ect.

be good
