These come from news sources which is what I used to do before people started demanding that I provide the links…

Diane Feinstein say she can never ever trust Condit and that he is done as a politician because he lied to her about having an affair with Chandra Levy. Which begs the question, Why was Clinton trustworthy to DiFI after lying to not just her but the entire American public? Maybe she fears Bill’s wife more than Condit’s.

More African American leaders are going after Dan Rather demanding explanations, including now, even the Reverend Al Sharpton. CBS has dropped his name completely from it’s website, indicating that they are going to quietly can the bastard, or shelter him until the furor goes away. Of course if Ruddy or Drudge had accused someone of being a buckwheat…

The congress is just now (still) confirming some of the Bush appointees to their posts. Bush keeps getting blasted for inconsistencies created by bitter partisan holdovers from the previous regime. But his poll numbers are better than Slick’s was during the same time in his presidency, especially with men, which means that obviously men aren’t the ones thinking with their sex as they are always accused of.

I note a lack of car-bombings in recent weeks. I wonder if there is a correlation to Israel calling for a general mobilization and then publicly announcing that the next car bomb will result in the immediate invasion of Palestinian-controlled territory. They have also called us out, America, has being cowards in the face of terrorism by refusing to send ships into Haifa’s harbor. I have said many times, you do not back down from thugs like Arafat, Putin, and Zhiang. But what do I know.

Doctors are suing the government over Clinton’s anti-privacy decrees. But I thought everyone was screaming bloody murder when Bush tried to roll them back. But again, the press paid attention only to their political operatives and not the guys who would be doing the operating…

Oh yeah, no massive California blackouts due to a mild summer… Damn global warming model keeps fucking breaking down. Who or what can you believe in anymore?

And finally, from the most left-leaning organization in the cable news world, CNN, one of their execs was just nailed for trying to pick up a 13 year-old on the net. No wonder they backed Clinton to the hilt. And what is the difference between that guy and DCL on one hand and Bill and Condit on the other? At least the latter’s affairs were with women and not young girls.

If you could read the radio, that's what it would say, that's for sure!

Do you people actually take the time to respond to this stuff or do you just smile, nod your head, and say "Mega Dittos" like I would? Just curious.

Still working on the server, FYI.

For those of you interested in Chandra Levy and other conspiracies, by the way (I love a good conspiracy theory), you should check out the case of the dead staff member of Florida Republican House Rep. Joe Scarborough (who, by the way, admitted to several affairs after demanding Clinton resign for same) It's some interesting stuff. The media has pretty much left it alone, but his perfectly healthy assistant suddenly died and no one is saying why. Chandra is still only missing, this woman is confirmed dead:

Carry on friends!

Buenos Diaz Manu.
Yeah I read everything and I do not listen to Rush very often.
I live so far out in the boonies that I do not get television or radio (other than gosple, country, and farm reports).
I like consiracies too.
Pass my best wishes to Laurel on the matter she intimated to me earlier. I wish her and you the best.
Good luck with the servers.

[I live on the net for my news]

Mega dittos to Manu!

Sorry. It was a confidence.

I may be mean and nasty and conservative, but I have my values, betrayal not being one of them.

The last sever finally came back - hurray!

I read a lot of news sites. Actually, some aren't really news, more rumors, but still.

Did you notice that Drudge was one of the sites that Chandra checked the last day before she went missing? I blame Matt! ha.

I have a recent one for you. Not sure if you have followed the journalist-in-jail story that Laurel posted about a while back, but there is a new theory on that - I read about it on another board. The guy who she is investigating for her book was a known big bookie in Houston in the mid 90's - his clients were big dollar rich and famous people from all over Texas. Look up his name on Google and you're find all kinds of stuff. Anyways, if she found out that George W. Bush was involved in gambling on baseball, in any way, then Bush wouldn't be able to take over as baseball commissioner when his time is up as President, something he is alleged to want to do. Think Pete Rose and gambling. The reporter has spent 3+ years investigating the case, you can only imagine what she might have found.

Isn't the Internet wonderful? :)

Yeah, Matt did it. Not following the reporter case too closely since I think nearly everyone involved is dead...

Got to go, wierd aol message keeps coming up...

Need to reboot...

Baseball commissioner.

Now there's a job for Bill Clinton. You need a legal background to be commissioner. Well, there is the little issue of the plea bargain, but you don't really need to practice law. Unlike Clinton's beginning in 1992 when he caught the reins at an upturn in the economy, Major League Baseball is a runaway freight train headed for a collapsed tunnel. While America will survive Bush, I doubt baseball can survive another strike. It is sharply divided between the rich republican teams (mostly in the blue states this time) and the poor democrat teams in the heartland. If he could save baseball from itself, it would far out shadow his questionable legacy as president. It pays great; it's not too demanding on his time leaving opportunity for the speech circuit.

Come on, Bill. Do it for your country. Hell, he could even expand into Europe. The London Kings vs the Paris Greens.

If they watch cricket, you know they'll take to baseball.

Another suspicious Bush death!

Did anyone notice that the guy who said he sold drugs to Bush died recently of an overdose? He was last saying that Karl Rove told him lots of stuff, and his phone logs showed long calls to Rove's home. Shall we all start an Arkansas-like paranoia watch on Bush? I'd rather not....

But I like Writer Dom's idea about Clinton as baseball czar. I've been bailing out all year, less and less interested in the only sport I care much about. The new sched is hideous - my team plays 19 games each with the Marlins, Phillies, Expos. That's 57 3-hour days to waste on... what? And then they start muscling the umpires to do precisely the wrong thing, instead of cutting back on the time outs. Baseball just doesn't feel right this year, and it's not merely because I'm a Mets fan (we're well accustomed to suffering pointlessly). The sport needs help.
