Night Runner

Takatha unslung his sword at the Amazon's orders. He leapt into the fray, and in seconds her head was on the ground. "I demand parley!" he shouted. The Amazons suddenly stopped and looked at the head. "I know your laws, bitches! I know that I control this villages as long as I have the head in my posession!" he bellowed, snatching up the head. The Amazons gave him a dark glare, but then, they bowed to him before moving back to their original jobs. Takatha put the head into a bag. He lifted up his sleeve, and inspected the cut he had recieved from the Amazon before she died. "Who are you, mage?" he asked after a few seconds, narrowing his eyes at Circe. At the same time, he sent a mental command for Damas to get off the roof.

Circe

Circe's eyes flamed at the demanding tone in the man's voice. "I am just that," She said in a cold tone,"A mage. I travel to Ganth's to seek answers to the death of my brother and I ran across you on the way there." Not quite the whole truth but enough of it to do.

Damas landed on the ground and growled at the amazons then looked at the mage and sniffed the air. He stood there, still a little apprehensive about seeing the woman. He moved forward and was about to say something but before he could he received a look that could have killed him on the spot. He backed away and looked around, trying to find the location of the fire mage.

"Well, that's enough for me. I am Takatha, I am a Lord", he said. Not the whole truth, but enough for her to not ask. "I am also on a quest to kill Ganth of the Black Flame. He has stolen 2 very valuable things from me. But of course, your loss is far greater than mine. Life is far more important than objects", he consoled. "Damas, will you get over here?" hissed Takatha mentally.

Circe

The flame went out of Circe's eyes at the curtesy of the man and she nodded her head. "Do you have room for one more in your party?" She asked him,"It is better to travel in numbers around these parts. Especially this close to Ganth's dwelling."

As soon as Damas was close enough he looked at the mage and bowed then said, "My name is Damas and as you can plainly see I am nothing more than a werewolf. But I am here to help Takatha to destroy Ganth although I have my own reasons to do so."

As soon as he stood he said, "And if you are here to destroy Ganth then you are more than welcome to join us."

Circe

Circe looked at both men and bowed her heads at them. "Well, it will certaintly be an interesting journey if nothing else," She said with a smile.

Glancing over at the amazon women, she says,"But dont you think it would be a good idea to get out of here as soon as possible?"

"Yes, I believe it would", smiled Takatha. He walked boldly up to the women. "Where is the Fire Mage and his two Cat Warriors?" asked Takatha. The Amazons scowled but showed him anyway. "Follow me", he said to the group.

Damas walked beside Takatha and watched the amazons as he knew better than to trust them. He knew that this was a place that he shouldn't let his guard down in and he sniffed the air and listened for every sound to make sure that nothing was going to happen.

Circe

Circe followed closly, her mind focusing on readying a spell should it be needed. She could feel the tensness in the werewolf beside her and she didnt blame him. She didnt feel comfortable around these women herself. She would be glad when they were out of here.

Takatha led the way into a large temple, where the three males were hung up. "Get them down", he ordered. The amzons reluctantly complied.

Circe

Circe followed them into the hut where the women released the three men. Closing her eyes, she concentrates on a simple heal spell that would revitalize them and heal any wounds suffered during their captivity.

She opened her eyes and cast the spell. A white light enveloped them almost like a blanket before dissapearing. They looked up at the group, their mouths open wide in surprise that they had been rescued.

Lilly

OOC: ummmm guys, i don't supose some one could rescue me soon,it's getting kinda cold in this hole and the rats smell.

OOC: Moonlight, we understand your predicament, and will be as quick as possible. Okay, guys, let's just pretend we became friends with the three. We got the shard, and all of us are heading back to Ganth's castle, okay?

Circe

As we headed back to Ganth's castle, I proceeded to grill my new companions. "Okay, what does the shard do, how do we use it and will I have enough time to interrogate Ganth about my brother's death before you do something to him?"

"Actually, the shard can make Ganth into a God. Unless Jarric can kill him with it first. It greatly enhances a fire mage's powers. No, you will not get a chance to interrogate Ganth", said Takatha, slightly irritated.

Circe

Circe stares at the man. "So I am supposed to go with you to kill this monster and I come away with as many questions as before?" The irritation in her voice matched his. "Now that is entirely not acceptable"

"Do you actually believe we can weaken him up enough to question him? If we try, he will kill us all!" exclaimed Takatha angrily. "Ask Zyn. She knows of the horrors of what he does in his dungeons", he shouted angrily.

Circe

Circe stopped and faced him, the anger evident in her own voice. "Fine," She said in a biting tone,"I get the idea. If we are to take on this nightmare than we need to be alive for it. But, one way or another, I will find some answers during this journey."

Walking past him, she headed down the path again.

Takatha calmed down. "Yes, you will. Probably sooner than you like", he muttered. He unsheathed his sword and checked it. Then he put it back and continued on his way. Kain and Zyn whispered something to each other, then walked on.

Circe

Circe throws up her hands and followed Takatha in silence. Her mind was even more set on finding some answers and then she would finally revenge her brother's death.

They arrived at the cliffs in an hour.

OOC: Let's pause the thread here. We'll keep it alive by posting a simple "a" whenever it's about to die.
