These are my picks for this weekend:
Rams
Bears
Steelers
Raiders

I'd like to see the Packers win, but it's unlikely.
I'd also like to see the Bears go all the way, but that is unlikely, too.

AFC is a tougher call than the NFC.

The Raiders have a self-destructive history and can be vulnerable to an upset.

The Ravens feel they have reverted to last year's form. Personally, I think Gerbac can sink any successful organization much the smae as a Jeff George.

I would like to see Raiders upset and Steelers win.

I like your NFC picks. Hope Warner gets over his flu.

I hadn't heard Warner had the flu, but the Rams are so good I doubt it will make much difference.

As for the Ravens, they have no offense to speak of, and the Steeler defense is pretty good against the run. Unless the Grbac suddenly develops the ability to go deep they have no passing game.

The Raiders are vulnerable, but I despise the Patriots too much to ever pick them.

One good hit and Elvis leaves the building! He gets those scared eyes. Add to hear his coach: I look into Elvis' eyes and I like what I see. Of course, didn't he say that about Dilfer?

I feel the same way about the Raiders. Wouldn't pick them if they were playing the local High School.

Yeah. They were so happy with Dilfer they became the only team to ever release a Super Bowl winning QB. I don't see Elvis as much of an improvement.

We saw enough of Elvis in KC. Believe me, he was a step down. I'm surprised the Ravens made it to the playoffs. A testament to thier defense.

Go Ravens... I've backed them for the last 3 years and was surprised as hell to watch them win last year. I know I'm fantasising but I would love to see them win again this year. Now if they could only get Grbac a new arm, and maybe a more settled head....:D

Elvis has a great arm...

he's tall, everything you hope for, except,

he's no scholar. You need that.

You also need leadership and mental toughness. This he lacks.

Now Steve DeBerg. Broken hand; put some pins in it, I can play. That's the kinda guy you'll go to war for. ANd that's whayt football is. Like chess, just very physical and your QB is your queen (that can be a very funny statement!.

SINthysist, you gotta agree that his great arm hasn't been serving him or the team for the last few weeks. It's like a bomb going off... the ball could end up anywhere. I agree that he just aint that inspirational this season... shades of Trent Dilfer?

Oh I gotto agree. He has no leadership qualities because he has no composure what-so-ever. I saw Dilfer play this season in some games, and at least he stays in there and fights. Elvis goes into a cocoon. If the Steelers get after him, we may all get to see that this weekend.
