NFL Draft Predictions.

Very stupid at that point in the draft given the Quinn option--and I'm not a fan of Quinn.

You mean very stupid with tons of exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ties in with them sending Wes Welker off to the Pats (disgusting) but you saw how Ted Ginn, Jr. was my most point producing player in your fantasy league last season.

So basically they drafted someone to take Welker's place in kick returns just to season him to be a fine receiver when or if they ever get/have a fine QB. Made zero sense.

Unless the Morman QB (forget his name now) or Ted Ginn produce, Dolphins have no drawing power. Especially if Jason Taylor goes.

Can only "hope" Ronnie Brown has a good season, but I doubt it. *saying this might help him so that's why i said it

The Bears - like many teams that make it to championship - had a season of few injuries, a very weak schedule (look at the first 6 opponents that season - extremely easy), and a couple of really unbelievable games where they pulled victory out from their collective asses.

But they did belong in the Super Bowl since the road was practically paved for their level of success. A team's record is what it is - a team that is 14-2 or 2-14 is exactly that which nullifies the stupid cliches like "They're better (or worse) than their record." - no, in sports teams are exactly their W-L-T record. There might be extenuating circumstances and reasons but the W/L's are what they are...

The Bears were in a particularly weak NFC that season and played exactly as needed to make it to the Super Bowl. It was no fluke but played out rather dully as predicted.

Now the NFC is a whole lot more competitive than it was a couple of seasons ago...

They earned the right to be there by virture of the win/loss record but they didn't really belong there. It's certainly the nature of the game that teams that are subpar will sometimes get to the big game but that doesn't mean they really belong. They just get lucky with things like you mentioned. Easy schedules, few injuries, etc.
Unfortunately the Super Bowl is almost always very lopsided because of weak conferences and such.

Anquan is off the table. They want to re sign him. he's just bitter that Larry Fitzgerald got the contract extension before him. They'll make it right in the desert. They need to keep him there to keep asses in the seats.

They should.

I think Boldin is actually the better receiver. Fitz just gets more run on ESPN. The very same network that made Lavar Arrington a Pro-Bowler, and Reggie Bush the 2nd pick in the draft.

there's no one else in the top 8 that are in need of a QB. I think it's a perfect fit for them. Well provided that he isn't another Kyle Boller.

Atlanta.

Baltimore's used to playing without a quarterback, we're not used to playing without a solid CB. I'm also not ready to count Troy Smith out. The end of last season was such a cluster fuck, I'd like to see what he can do with the new organization.

I think Ryan's overrated. Give me Henne or Flaco.

Actually that all looks pretty accurate. I doubt it will end up exactly like that but it's possible and makes sense. There's always at least one team in the top ten that does something incredibly stupid though.

The Jets are not going to trade up to get McFadden as they really don't need a running back. Their best bet is probably to trade down and get more later round picks depending on who gets taken before them.

So true. Rarely does the Super Bowl game itself match the Conference championships or earlier rounds of the playoffs.

Last year was an exception with a competitive, intriguing game.

Atlanta is coveting Dorsey, and if he's still available they'll take him before a qb.

Troy Smith is an Ohio State QB..... Enough said there. Don't be surprised if they take Ryan.

Last year's superbowl was an absolutely amazing game. Late game lead changes, Cinderella story, perfect season etc. It really doesn't get better than that.

It depends on who is throwing the ball as to who is the better receiver. With Warner in it's Boldin. When Leinert is in Fitzgerald is his favorite target.

It would have been better if i actually had the stomach to watch the game live. I didn't have the stones to watch the patriots win if it came to that.

It was freaking amazing on sportscenter though.

You're less of a man for missing it.

Nope.

Shockey gets traded to CIN with a pick for Chad. Shortly thereafter, Plax decides to not report to camp.

I don't see that either. It's become a pissing contest there and the gm ( forget his name) isn't giving in. Chad will sit out the season. Retarded as it is for them not to trade him, they won't. It is cinci after all.

I wish Carson would get the hell out of there.

It was a joke. :)

I was going absolutely nuts and I'm a Jets fan. It was one of the most nerve-wracking games I have ever watched.

The Jets are not going to trade up to get McFadden as they really don't need a running back.

The Jets have several needs but Thomas Jones and Leon Washington give the Jets plenty of reason to add firepower to the backfield. These are lower-tier running backs with no breakaway speed. The Jets finished in the LOWER THIRD of NFL offenses last season and their running game is uninspiring, at best.

Jesse Chatman upgrades the Jets' RB depth but a player of McFadden's stature would be good for any NFL team.
