Newbie

first of all, address serious questions to the bdsm talk forum, not the cafe. Second of all..... wait for some of the experienced people to answer lol, don't worry they will

Me and my girlfriend have discussed it and we want to try some light bondage, any advice on how to start out?

Over on BDSM talk, there is an area called the library. It's at the top all the time. Click on it, and scroll down to the link call 'bondage', it'll lead you to some good sites and some good discussions on bondage.

Thanks, all

Hello and welcome DarkWizard.

In answer to your question, you should be sure to have the right equipment prior to engaging in any bondage play.

If you were referring to rope bondage, you want to make sure you use rope made of soft, pliable material. Avoid rough, coarse rope which may cause skin damage from chafing. If you want to experiment, try using scarves initially.

Do not place any restraints around the neck. Please be sure to have a pair of heavy duty shears available in case you need to cut through the restraints quickly. Finally, do not tie any restraints too tightly.

Here are a few sites for beginners in bondage. i've also included a link from our Library specifically dedicated to Bondage.

Good luck and safe exploration.
