Hi all--

Well, I just did something completely out of character, LOL! I discovered this site yesterday and just wrote and submitted my very first erotic story. I feel kind of embarrassed and excited all at the same time. My fiance came in and asked what I was doing, and I minimized the screen so he couldn't see, and told him I was working on my romance. (I'm three chapters into a romance novel.)

I know I should show him because I hate having secrets from him, but I'm embarrassed to let him know I have such a dirty mind! (Although he may be wondering why I'm so horny today.);) We've been together five years, and he would absolutely die if he saw what I wrote. I can hardly believe I wrote it myself. Do all of you that have significant others show them your stories, or do you do this on the sly?

Also, how long before I see my story up on the site? (I'm pretty sure it's going to make the cut.) Thanks in advance,
everybody.

Congratulations!

Congrats for taking the initiative and sending one in!

This is the best site for erotic literature (in my opinion).

I have been married for almost 4 years and my husband LOVES reading my stuff! I feel quite confident that yours will love that side of you as well, unless he is amazingly religious or has some sort of strange set of beliefs...?

Anyway, I strongly urge you to show him what you wrote... you will likely be pleasantly surprised!

Good Luck!

(Oh, and stories so far have taken about a month for posting but it is well worth the wait)

lol

Hi and welcome, can't wait to see your story. I do not share my stories with my wife as she'd be pissed - a few of them star her as the main character - they're fiction by the way, I just happen to think my wife is sexy and love involving her in these sick fantasies of mine lol.

If you feel guilty, share them, if not don't. It's OK to have some minor secrets from your loved one as long as they are not important. You may be 2 becoming one as the preacher says, but you're still an individual and you need to keep something for yourself.

My recent experiences say that it'll be about a month or so until your story is posted, but Laurel is working on a fix for that. If you don't know who she is, she is the Madam who runs this site. I share my stories with my girlfriend Alyssa, but no one else in my life knows about my writing.

I definately think you should share your creations with your better half. He would only feel proud of you, trust me. I was abit leary at first about sharing, but once I did, it felt great. I especially loved knowing how proud he was of my accomplishments. The reason I felt abit strange, was because the word content used was not words that flow easily from my lips. I never talk in this manner, but man, I love writing it. I don't plan to ever stop either. I plan to share all my writings with him and hopefully everyone on Lit too.

Have a nice day. Katerina :)

Hi again, everybody, and thanks for all the replies. I finally did tell him last night, but he hasn't read it yet. It just felt like too big of a secret to keep, and no, he didn't throw me out of the house, lol!

He asked what it was about and I told him; I even told him who the guy in the story is based on (somebody we both know), and he just laughed and said, "I always knew you were a pervert, babe."

The poor thing is in bed with sciatica, and he wanted me to print him out a copy so he could read it, but I don't want a hard copy of it floating around the house. (Too many little eyes around here.) He'll just have to wait until he's well enough to sit at the computer.

Thanks again for responding and making me feel so welcome.

I told my lover about my stories. He read them, and said "I am now officially afraid of you."

Depending on what you wrote -- well, full disclosure is usually best.

Welcome!

I'm a newbie two, and I have sent in my first story, I have several more waiting in the wings to be sent in too. My husband encouraged me to write these stories, in fact, my first one, (the one I'm waiting to see posted) he helped me with. It's fun to work on a story together with your partner and the benefits with your sex life are enormous. We both love literotica, but I am the writer. He has ideas but no writing desire. I think you were right to share your story with your other half, and sharing the creating of them is also another way to have fun. Good luck and happy writing. RoseofBlue

I'm glad your boyfriend had a favorable attitude toward your stories. For those others, why not write them up, get a Literotica - Hotmail, etc, e-mail account and send it to yourself on your regular e-mail account.

Then you can ask him how he likes the story, and can tell him you got it on the net - which you did! See how he likes it, then go from there! I use a second e-mail account to send certain things to my home account when I want to sanatize them for forwarding. Works great. Just remember who you are!

Looking forward to your story. Laurel is a little behind right now. I have 4 stories waiting posting, so chin up. Make a note of the date you sent each story in. I was getting real itchy waiting for a story to post - then looked at the date I'd sent it. I was just anxious to see it posted - hadn't been a week since I sent it in.

Congrats

Hiya, congrats on the stories and the honesty. Its a hard thing to do telling your other half sometimes. Then again for others it's easy. For me unforchantly it wasn't so easy and even now he doesn't like it but nothing he can do about it. I wouldn't listen even if he told me not to, its just something I need to do for me. I believe everyone has the right to express themselves in one way or another. As for your story well I am still waiting on mine to be up and about soon, {I hope} just understand alot of people put in stories everyday. So it proably will take time, be patient but until then keep writing. Can't wait to read them let me know when they show up. So until then good luck.

Dear DeLaine,
The solution to your little problem is simple, simply ask his advice about the sexy story you wrote in your spare time. If he likes it, take the next step and inform him you are prepared to post it on Literotica. If he doesn't like it, you can always do it covertly, a lot of people here don't share their stories with people they know.

BABY BABY!!

At first I was chicken to show hubbie my stories... especially since my first one went into the extreme section (Doggie Heaven).

The next one was a pretty standard discription of a blowjob... and HE loved that one. It's the only one he's read.

He sees me tip-tapping away on the keyboard & knows my mind is whirling in smut, but he doesn't mind. He was excited to see me soooo happy to get my stories posted that he doesn't really care. If anything it has improved our sex life, so he is liking that "side effect." And besides, if he can surf porno nonstop, then I can write some, right??
