I don't. Things go pretty fast here. I usually don't come here as often as I'd like but whenever I'm here I find a thread to talk to folks and they catch me up on things.
Just keep posting.

*laughs* Oh well. I suppose I'll just keep doing what I'm doing. It's just hard to keep up! ;) Thanks!

Hi,

I have this story that I've submitted three times and it's been rejected because of formatting I guess cos I can't see anything wrong with it. I'm afraid if I do anything else, I'll tear it up! Can anyone help on this....pretty please  :catroar:

Have you tried asking the powers that be?

I can have a look tonight, off to work now.

Pm or E-mail it to BT. If she has e-mail enabled, you should see the option in her drop-down menu.

deleting a story

Hi. Can anybody tell me how to delete a posted poem/ story? And can I do something about accidentally voting or leaving a public comment twice? Thanks.

I don't think that a posted poem can be delated and the gods of Lit do regular sweeps of the votings so they will catch yours most likely. If you want you can pm Laurel or Manu.

Sorry, that the best advise I can give you. But someone else might know more.

Welcome to the AH!

Hi Lalai,

I think you can ask Laurel (KittyMama) to remove your story or poem, but you have to give her a good reason. LOL The understanding is you leave your work up for a year.

Rydia,

I'm not an editor. Jeez! English is not even my native language. LOL
But I can and will take a look to see if I can find out why it's being rejected.
So far none of mine has been, so I guess I should know more or less.

Double voting is taken care off on a regular basis. Usually done to keep troll votes out, but I guess the occasional slip up is cleared up as well.
Public comments can only be deleted by the owner of the story it belongs to. You can pm or leave it, it will be obvious it's a mistake.

No harm done.

:D

Thanks!

Hi Thanks for the info. Its a great help. I was just wondering coz I noticed a few of my favorite authors remove their stories after a few months or so.

You'll find the people here to be friendly. If you need any help just stop by :)

I agree. But the experience can be overwhelming that's why I just tend to stay in the sidelines. :) :rose:

Don't be afraid. We don't bite, unless, of course, you want us too. ;)
