outdoors by 9 and before breakfast to bury my m-i-l's last old indoors cat... she lost his brother about 4 months back, maybe 5. They were about 18 years old.

She wanted him put where we buried the last one and the ancient rooster. The ground was so dry and hard I had to use a pickaxe to break it.

Still got 2 'yellow' (orange, or marmalade to UKers) outdoors ones plus our newest who's not yet a year old and is mainly white with siamesey markings plus some smudges of grey and ginger. Her grandmother was full siamese. She has the most lovely blue eyes and is a chatty, playful, funny thing.

anyone tried that thing with club biscuits where you bite off diagonally opposing corners, then stick one end in coffee or milk, suck on the other end till the liquid starts coming through, then shove the biscuit in your mouth?

Get a decent-sized empty cardboard box; leave it, open, in the sun for an hour or so; then close it up and seal it with packaging tape. Put it under the stairs and don't take it out again until the first week of February. It'll be wonderful.
